in case you were wondering how small the F40 is compared to other cars on the road today...... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Took those photos more than ten years ago on 29th of May 2010 in Switzerland at the Kessel service facility. Unfortunately I didn't take pictures of serial numbers so I can't identify this specific F40. Anyone here who got some more information and knows the s/n? https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/147653699/ Davide Cironi's interviews are always worth watching, wonder when the Dario Danuzzi one will be released?
That might be the same F40 that was featured on the cover of the Cavallino magazine issue #53 from OCTOBER/NOVEMBER 1989? Image Unavailable, Please Login
This picture for the Cavallino cover was taken by Marcel Massini at Imola. Maybe he will comment on the serial number of this particular yellow F40 and whether it is the same F40 in post #3688 above. The Imola "old Ferrari" event took place on June 11th, 1989. Present was the yellow F40 of Dany Deletraz of Geneva. Ferrari provided an F40 Le Mans Competizione 79890 with Dario Benuzzi on hand for driving duties plus there were 10 of the new F40 models present. Interestingly there was a factory 288 GTO Evoluzione 79887 present along with four production 288 GTO models. Just like with the F40 models on hand there was also a yellow 288 GTO among the group present!
ABsolutely love that picture by Alex Penfold, one of the most talented auto photographer IMO It smells the Miami Vice era so bad, I watched it while listening to some Miami Nights 84 or Lazerhawk , groups that recreates some 80's synthpop for guys like me, who consider the 80's as the greatest decade ever.
