yeah, definitely improvement over stock. Catless would probably sound great too, but I’m good with my setup

Getting ready to pull the trigger on that same setup..just don’t want to enter the “obnoxious “ zone.

Sounds great! Does this have the upgraded cats too or is it just with stock cats?

Sounds amazing! I wonder how a catless setup would sound.

I think there may be two already with Gintani exhausts.

Yes it does. I can see your wheels turning! Mine will turn half way. Not going for the ECU upgrade yet.

I think I could do exhaust and lowering. Probably wouldn’t mess with a tune, too chicken to blow up the motor.

I don't think there are much exhausts out there that the F8 can use without flagging a check engine light. The only resolution to this would be a tune but that would void warranty... Hopefully a company comes out with something to fix this!

When lowering with the Novitec sport springs, people have said that it can be adjusted to a max low and max high; is that correct?

Really loved your set up, I noticed you selected exhust without flap.... Do you think the exhaust so noisy and it needs a flap to make it quiet some times or for this exhust setup the sound is great and no need for a flap?
For the lowering spring, do you need to adjust it to max, mid and low for your desired lowering level or it's a standard level? Because I heard in you tube someone from Novitec explained it comes with different lowering level.. No concerns for front pumper rubbing when the car is lowered?

Thanks and I appreciate your inputs

No need for a flap as its still not too loud, sounds better than stock but nothing crazy. Springs can be adjusted, the shop that installed them, installed the new wheels and set the height

Thanks brother for your feedback. Last question if you don't mind, how is the car driving with the lowered springs in terms of street bumps or obstacles? Do you need to lift the car every time you drive over any street bumps or the car can be driven smoothly on the road and you don't need to be so careful about obstacles and so on. I'm just worried the front lips can be rubbing more with lowering springs?

I do always lift it when approaching speed bumps or things where I may scrape, rather be safe than sorry. It rides great, no complaints at all. Performance isn't lacking either, takes turns and speeds perfect.

I have the same exhaust & suspension setup (but on stock wheels). I don't think flaps are necessary - it's very loud on cold start but after that it's only very loud if you are really on it. Scraping the front isn't an issue but I've scraped the rear diffuser fins several times, that's definitely the bigger issue. Ride quality and look is amazing though.

How did you fix the scrapes on your rear diffuser fins?
