My friend is the seller. :)

Glad we have all the 6 speed conversion parts. At this rate they won’t last long and they are NLA. Luckily I have the CAD data.

Again I agree with most of what you said. I will say that in the 7 figure area I am seeing more transactions than I ever have. Maybe I've just gotten better... Lol but... My assertion is that the sellers are not asking for blue sky any more they are more realistic with their initial offering and the car goes away.

What I was referring to was the 100-250k club.

I do agree m5s should trade for more... But e 36 m3 in my opinion... Which is one of my all time favorite cars... They are expensive enough for what they are. One of my absolute favs but they have gotten fairly expensive and they are great practical cars and fun to drive but they were underpowered when new and now a honda civic would give you a hard time.

Again e36 m3 was my first real/grown up car and I absolutely love it. I wish I could find my old techno violet m3 (hence my screen name)

Carrera gt and 675 are absolutely under valued. Without a doubt.

The 360 has come back up in price.

I think the 430s are worth what they are worth. Neat cars but for not much more u can get a 458. That's what keeps the 430 from going anywhere.

    458s aren't cheap but I guess compared to a 993 gt3 they are. I'd much rather have the 458.

I think 997.1 gt3rs are friggin deals. How the porsche idiots pass that car up is beyond me. That car is KILLER

It’s worth what someone will pay. Not like someone outbid themselves.

$120k over a similar F1 car? That’s chump change to some guys.

Buy a F430 F1 and then a V12 Vantage or DBS 6 Speed V12. Best of both worlds.

Certainly agree about the Diablo, certain variants are extremely rare. My '99 Roadster was a 1 year only redesign with only 142 produced worldwide.....

I like the Scuderia as a driving experience, but prices have not moved much (or at all) over the past 7 years.

This right here. Why buy an F1 box when you can get a DCT? Better care better handling.. better everything with the 458 instead of the F1 430/Scuderia.

Ferrari *could* pop the price increase a-la Porsche with the GT3.. but they won't. Happy to see the 3-pedals getting the right attention. With cheap money an asset bubble is going to continue.

FYI: There are some people who prefer the later F1 boxes for the kick in the pants you get vs the DCT which is super smooth and more refined.

Well the car is back on BAT

    https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2006-ferrari-f430-berlinetta-9-2/

"This is a re-list after the vehicle previously sold on BaT in January 2021 and the winning bidder failed to follow through with their commitment to purchase. This was not due to any fault with the vehicle. The winner has been banned from future participation on BaT and their buyer’s fee was not refunded."

It will be intersting to see what happens this time around!

Refunded for what? You bid, you better have your finances sorted. Permanent ban and no fee refund is the least BAT should do for non paying bidders.

Agreed. I don’t understand why someone would do that. 24k for a redacted bid is a bummer. And one that is deserved.

IMO smart of the previous bidder, $241k for that car was gonna put him in the hole a lot more than $5k fee. He must've sobered up.

Do the higher sales prices of gated cars drive up the f1 models?

I had a 997.1 gt3. It is not a special car and to me is quite ordinary. I traded it for a Scud which is a quantum leak ahead in special.
