    Hi all,

Sorry if this is not the right tree, but I couldn't find any other section for asking if someone has a Euro Mondial Flashing/fog light lens or whole unit for sale. I'm looking for the passenger side glass for some time already as mine is broken and I am driving around with US/UK glasses for the time being.

Mondial 3.2 - '87 (Mondial T would be fine too)

If someone has one lying arround I would be very greatfull!

    Thanks in advance
    Tijn

Finding a whole fog light unit is tough but check with dealers and ricambi, etc., sometimes miracles do happen. There are two suppliers of aftermarket foglight lenses. Both list their products on ferrarichat for sale parts section. One is a replica nicely made in Taiwan and the others are plastic. Be aware that, if you find the 328 lenses, they are very slightly deeper (1/4 ") than the Mondial lenses but will work nicely on a Mondial. When you do replace them, I strongly suggest that you cover them with the protective clear plastic like that offered by Griot's Garage.

Thanks Don, however I am looking for the glass part section :)

I dropped Ricambi, eurospace etc an email some weeks ago, but they didn't have any :( I even did a small hunt in Italy when I was there, but no go either.

PM Mark Lintott here on Fchat and see if he has any lenses left.

You could check with Scuderia Rossa but he has a bad reputation even though I had no problem with him. PRICES ARE HIGH BUT HE HAS STUFF.

    Thanks for the headsup Randall!

Sorry for the late ego here.
Yup I know them... I emailed them before starting this post. They have a unit over 3000 USD, but they were too keen in getting my money ASAP. That is not going to happen, besides that I think it is a ridiculus price, which I told them.

I have no experience with these guys, but by email they didn't sound very friendly to be honest. If I ever would need anything from them I would drive down to them to have the stuff in my hands and pay cash.

In the meantime I just purchased a new unit in France for about 900 USD.

    Thx
    Tijn

Try to remove it without breaking it! Many tried and many failed. :( US versions are still around. I called Ricambi America and they only had US versions (That was 6 months ago) I think in general EURO versions lights are harder to find as Ferrari's market target was mainly US and UK.

Mark Lintott had a few lenses made and the cost price was not low, sort of speak.

This EURO version just turned up though.

That is where I found the "B" pillar for my car.
No one, and I mean NO ONE else had it. They searched for it and found it in Switzerland.

Glass type is different and makes the light fall different on the road. US lights are not allowed in most European countries.

    Here you see the difference.

ok i will try to understand......

328 and Mondial 3.2 have different measures of lens
Mondial 32 and T have different measure of lens

Euro lens have a different design in Us version and a different design in Eu version .....

Mark is an user that replicate US lenses for 328
    not for mondial

    right ?

Unless at my age I can no longer read! Eurospares lists the Mondial T foglight as in stock and the price for the US version is about 500 pounds. They also have the turn signal lens. If this is true, what a nice development.
