2021 is here now and I’m wondering everyone’s thoughts if you think the value of 360’s & F430’s will go up/ stay the same/ or go down in value & Why?

I think it will depend a lot on what the economy and stock market do. Sports Car Market's latest report from a couple days ago puts both the 360 and 430 in the "C" category for investment, which I think means they should hold their value. I have no idea if SCM's predictions are any good. They report every 3 months.

Manual transmission examples will hold up stronger than F1 cars, as we've seen. But who's got a crystal ball? Not me!

I think it's pretty obvious that the 360/430 models have hit the bottom of the depreciation curve. Most likely, values for these models will remain static, adjusted for condition and mileage of course.

The 360/430 line will likely never be considered a collectable, too many built. I doubt they will ever appreciate but they should hold their adjusted value.

Who cares as they are both great cars! Drive 'em and enjoy 'em! Life is short!

The f430 is a great car. It will maintain value. The 360 is still on the sinking side of things.

The certain end of depreciation and start of appreciation as a classic won’t be until you see the older and prettier 360s going for more than an equivalent F430.

How long did the newer and faster 308s with a “more modern and angular design” sell for more than the older and slower Dinos with the “outdated” design? Now Dinos go for what, 5x a 308? The 360 will be the same in 15 years.

The lack of needing belt changes on the 430, much nicer interior, the transmission performance, handling etc will always work in the 430's favor. I like the 360, but a spade is a spade..

The bigger question is how many of you will be alive and able to drive your car when the 360s and F430s prices shoot up? :) Even if my car was to go up 100% I would not sell it. What would I do with the money? I really like my F430.

Let us say it will take 20 years. Now add 20 years to your age, how old will you be?

Might get hit by a semi or have a heart attack tomorrow. Might live to be 105. Do you honestly not comprehend the ridiculousness of asking people whether they'll be alive on a certain day? How could anyone know the answer to that?

You are obviously not getting it. I know a number of people who are in their 70s & 80s who can no longer get into their sports car. Sounds like you don't look
very far ahead in life. Will I be driving my car at 80? More than likely as I'm preparing for it now. Sure may die before that in a car accident which isn't that likely.
    Have a nice day.

I'm getting it just fine, friend. You asked who would be alive when cars took off in value. The answer is 100% "nobody knows and thats a ridiculous thing to ask".

I took it as a rhetorical question in advising everyone to forget about their values and just enjoy them while you have them, whatever their value!

Then again, perhaps I took it wrong. I am like that.....

Nah that's fair. Ultimately it's all from one's own perspective and I wouldnt expect many (if any) members to have the same as me nor I as them. :)

    All is well. ;)

360s are starting to go back up.. Ask guys in Australia and they are witnessing significant value increases.

Also not the cleanest car in the world… Some of the pictures of the underbody look rough and the interior is OK

When ICE cars get banned in the next 10 years then yes everything will go up. Supply and demand. I don't think there will be as much enthusiasm for electric exotics.

No they won't, but you may not be able to drive them in the more densely populated areas ie..downtown etc.

That is great for you if you have the option. Unfortunately many people who own a gas car don't.
