Thankfully since I didn't tune in hardly at all this season, I have no belly aches about the Texans. But the burger did cause a bit of a tummy-ache. :D

Suggestion: Order some Pinquito Beans via Amazon.

They are what Ranch Style aspire to be.

QP is only burger I can tolerate from McD's after removal of all radioactive pickles & 90% of onion of unknown vintage, which was also apparently chopped during a severe seizure of some sort.

Only have it when Bride brings *Surprise*!

Big Mac is horrifying. I'd rather french-kiss Satan.

Amazon quantities and/or prices for pinquito beans are crazy. Our local Kroger stores don't carry them. I need to hit up a bodega or two and see if they have some. Need to see if these beans are all the Californians say they are. Of course, I'll need to have a tri tip to go with...T

When I was working out in the California desert, I stopped at a McDonald's in Needles, I think it was. Since my car was a hooptie, AC didn't work, so I had the windows all open to avoid overheating the car, and myself. I learned a valuable lesson - you can't eat a big Mac with one hand while driving 80+ mph on the interstate in a car with the windows rolled down!

Soup, and turkey cordon blu on tap for dinner...T

Finally made some chili after weeks of talking about it.

Rough recipe as it was quite hearty. Half an onion, half a jalapeno, 3 cloves of garlic was added to the meat for sautee. The fixing had half of a red, yellow, and green pepper, half a carrot, celery stick, and corn. Not even slightly traditional but I had to use some of those.

1 can of beans, 1 can tomato paste, 1 can fire roasted tomatoes and beef stock. Seasoningi forgot frankly.

FWIW - Pinquito is an heirloom bean whose growth & harvest is very specific to climate around Lompoc, CA.

I bought a pork tenderloin roast yesterday. Plan to cut it into medallions, bread them and pan fry them in a mushroom sauce for dinner. Serve over egg noodles.

McDonald's was the best in the 80s and 90s.

    Good garbage.

Isn't a tenderloin kind of a fancy cut to bread?

There's a place near here that says they stock Rancho Gordo beans. I sense a mission!

I always bread them, its my moms recipe. Not sure how she got it. She collects cookbooks.

I bought them frozen and thought they be defrosted. Not! Looking at ordering the pizza of the day special at Pizza Hut or McDonalds. The pizza of the day is a med for $10. A different kind of pizza for each day of the week. Haven't checked what todays pizza is.
