After much deliberation, I have decided to sell my 355. Many will recognize this car as formerly belonging to Robb here on Fchat. Here are the details: 1995 Ferrari 355 Berlinetta 35,460 miles 6 Speed Manual Giallo Modena / Nero VIN – ZFFPR41A8S0101116 (Clean carfax) Tubi headers, primary cat bypasses, Capristo bypass valve, and Nouvalari exhaust. Interior sticky parts all addressed. Aftermarket momo suede steering wheel (I do also have the original with airbag). Factory radio blank plate ('95s were not delivered from the factory with a radio and this car has not had one installed). 3M Crystalline window tint all around (maximum heat reflection but not dark). Full paint protection film (entire car). Complete toolkit, books, car cover, and extra key included. The car is in great shape and has been extremely well cared for, with a binder full of receipts. It is COMPLETELY sorted mechanically, with all of the typical 355 issues addressed. Valve guides done by Ferrari, Major service just completed last spring, Tubi headers. There are no issues, lights, and absolutely everything works as it should (AC, Heat, etc.) The interior presents well and shows normal wear consistent with age and mileage. There is some slight wear on the driver's bolster, and the dash leather has shrunk a bit around the defroster vents. Carpets are good with original Ferrari floor mats. The exterior is in good shape overall with no major imperfections. The rear buttresses have some paint cracks as is typical with Berlinettas. Maintenance highlights: 1. Major service performed last spring (2020) and documented in my thread here: Quarantine Project: 355 major | FerrariChat I have over $8k in receipts from parts purchased for this service. It went well beyond the standard "belt swap", and included new tensioners (not just the bearings, but the tensioners themselves), new water pump (not rebuilt), new heat exchanger (replaced preventatively), new AC Compressor, fuel injectors rebuilt and flow-matched, new plug wires, Tubi headers, cat bypasses, and Nouvalari exhaust. Major service thread also contains videos in Post #43. 2. Valve guides replaced by Ferrari of Denver in 2002. 3. AC system (condensor and coil) 2015 4. CV boots replaced 2017 5. Motor mounts replaced 2017 I have owned 3 355s and this one has been my favorite by far. It pulls very strong and feels solid. It needs nothing and I imagine that it will be trouble-free for many miles and years to come. This is not a perfect, concourse car, but it is a VERY nice driver. The price is $95k which I believe is very fair given the car's condition and history. I have considered listing on BAT, but would really like to see this car stay "in the family" with another Fchatter. Stunning car! How did you get a copy of the window sticker?! Also, fixing the common cracks in the paint along the buttresses are pretty easy- I use Dr. Colorchip to fill them in.
Thanks for the kind words! I actually got the car with Fabspeed headers, bypass pipes, and a Capristo exhaust, which I swapped for Tubi and Nouvalari. So I never had the stock cats or muffler. Thanks! It came with the records I received with the car. Not sure if Robb tracked it down (I wouldn't put it past him) or it was in there before... Good tip on the paint cracks too, thanks!
I will tell you that this was my favorite 355 I have owned out of the 4 in my garage because of its engine and solid nature. It is a beautiful car and obviously shows well. Ran like an industrial sewing machine. happy to answer any questions about the unique history of the car of my or previous owners tenure. I will leave the history after it left my hands to Chris. Robb
If I had not bought a 355 red tan gts I would have listed for this. A really lucky buyer. Please don’t overthink, go get this guys.
Great car and best of luck on the sale. I loved my 95, proper twin air boxes and OBD1 Best of the bunch
Man I can't stop staring at this car. It's just soo hot. '95 GTB, fly yellow and, a provenance unique in all the good ways, right here on FChat. This is a forever car for someone. I am a mod of the Facebook group F355 Fan Club and you can always post it on there as well but you are 100% right... really it should go to someone here. At least I hope so.
I strongly advise a video(s) of the vehicle due to the unique sound it produces! This car has a way of leaving a chester cat smile on your face. Also, any videos like cold start, hot start, normal driving etc will help those who may not be able to see the vehicle in person.
