What an awesome daughter you are! That all looks great. I'm sure Mom must have loved it.

Our best friend is also an end of the year special. My lovely wife is a start of the year prize package! :D

We celebrated her birthday a day early with akaushi steak (from Heartbrand in Tejas), steamed broccoli, a little bubbly and to ensure good luck in the new year, black eyed peas with bacon.

We wimped out and skipped ordering the akaushi rib eyes as we thought would be too rich!

Thus far IIRC we've had their tenderloins, flat iron, ground beef, chuck eyes and flank steaks (OMG those fajitas!!).

Wish we had a larger stand alone freezer, but the missus found a slightly dinged up 8.5 cu ft Danby at Nebraska Furniture Mart that was 1/2 off, and there's no standing between the wife and a deal!

Which company sells beef quarters and sides?

Thanks for the site and info... looks fantastic, window shopping until we clear out our leftovers.
We should get a stand alone freezer.

Quarter of beef is ~ 100 kilos per the internet. There's no way, we could refrigerate / freeze that much meat, especially not with all the dog treats and goodies we have to keep on ice!

We had to get a stand alone freezer out of necessity. Our house is about 110 years old and so the kitchen is not set up for modern sized appliances without majorly re-doing the footprint. So, we opted for a smaller fridge-only unit in the kitchen when we renovated and a stand alone freezer in our back room, which used to be a sleeping porch back in the day.

Our dog will eat "sweet" veggies - corn, peas, carrots, sweet taters - when added in small amounts to her kibble, but there better be other goodies. Leading with veggies gets you a big dose of canine skunk eye!

As it happens, today is canine cooking day. Boiled some shaved beef to cook it and reduce the amount of fat. Then reduce the broth; I use that to moisten her kibble and punch up the flavor!
    She's a very spoiled pooch...T

I add hamburger to Bella's kibble. I cook it a little, so the juices soaks the kibble. She also likes salmon sashimi. Right now she's enjoying a bone from the prime rib. She's picky on treats, she likes these soft sticks I got at Costco.

Early dinner............... Brother is over watching football. He decided we should have DQ. They have a deal; cheeseburger, fries, drink and sundae for $7. Got him that and since a Japanese restaurant is next door. I got rolls and sashimi.
