Historic Grand Prix has just posted their 2008 schedule. Only 5 events, at 4 venues, but at least they've covered a large part of the country:

    Road Atlanta (HSR) -- May 2 - 4

    Watkins Glen (IRL) -- July 4 - 6

    Road America (SVRA) -- July 18 - 20

    Sonoma (IRL) -- August 22 - 24

    Sonoma (CSRG) -- October 11 - 12

I have a model of the Peter Revson Yardley McLaren(which I love) but my favorite livery is the Marlboro.

The early 70s were fantastic and I am considering diving in. Scary though. Track days in a coupe are so much more comfortable for now. Still, I'm considering SVRA this year.

I'm seriously looking. And who wouldn't want to have the chance to drive a F1? My choice would be the 70s.

WOW!!!! I've sat in an F-1 car but never got to drive it.... i did steer it as it was pushed from the pit to paddock... that as a 412T from 1994. To drive an F-1 car at all is amazing... at speed its serious stones!!!! kudos to you.

I came close to doing an Arrows drive at Monza but I literally don't fit any longer... ( pure sport are the guys who run the Arrows .)
