Not in straight line obviously esp with stick vs dct/lc but driving pleasure, handling, maybe even lap times

I thought I was the only one on the planet to not have jumped on the T.50 bandwagon..

I am on the T.50 bandwagon annnd I think it looks very generic. :( Let's wait and see how it drives. ;)

yet another teaser - AMG says "Sooner than later... " in comments :)

Just my opinion of course, but this car is absolutely ugly to my eyes..

Gordon murray must be jumping for joy at this. 6 cylinders and 1700kg vs 12c and 900.

I do like paint job though.

1700kg is still a lot of weight, especially for such an extreme machine .... Now I understand better the 1400kg of the Valkyrie.

But I'm still really happy that the "One" will is a reality, personally I like its design a lot.

1,700 kg = 3,748 lbs  (batteries, motors, inverters, ....)

986 kg = 2,174 lbs :) (none of that hybrid crap)

Prefer Gordon's route by far but pleased to see MB undertake and tackle the project. I think for MB, it's been much more of engineering riddle and packaging puzzle they had to crack, and may be prove to themselves they could.

I sometimes wonder if Hamilton said,"I'll stay of you can build me ______". Perhaps they should have named it project 44.

Video stated that it weighs almost 1,700 kilograms (wet)...almost 3,800 pounds. Kind of a pig.

I cannot afford these cars, but if I was in the market I would be all over T50, mostly because of how light it is. I think Gordon Murray hit it out of the park with an extremely light weight, high revving naturally aspirated V12 with a manual transmission.

Heavy hybrids with paddle shifters are not unique IMHO. I think the T50 will provide a driving experience that's unparalleled and leave the d*ck-swinging horsepower wars to the wealthy folks that don't really know how to drive and can't handle a stick shift.

Amg seems like an updated 918 spyder if you even consider the 6cyl tt f1 an update over lemans na v10.

Not sure why, but I see it competing more with koneigsegg and pagani than valkyrie and gma.

so they cant even sell it in usa due to engine restrictions. was it really worth it to force this f1 motor into a street car? whats the advantage other than saying its a f1 engine. not like it produces crazy power compared to other options that dont need all the hybrid, computer help. and dont think it even sounds good in actual f1 race.

I hate Mercedes for the most part... And I was really looking forward to this car...

    And they ruined it.

    3800 lbs?

Terrible sounding motor with low rebuild time and over complications?

    Why?

    Why go through the excercise
