Went for a evening drive then suddenly my dash lights went out without warning, luckily I was only a couple miles from home so turned back, all my other lights work but the dash. I've tried the dimming option and it's on max, only thing I haven't tried is battery reset.

Car is always on tender and new battery fitted a couple years ago (I know these cars are sensitive to battery voltages)

So is this a DIY fix? Specialist job? Or new cluster?

I'm hoping a DIY fix (fingers crossed) if you have or know a step by step guide would be brill!

Here are pics, as you can see all the needles are lit and the HVAC lights are working just not the dash.

I have the same problem. It was missed by the PPI so it's my problem. It was nearly six months before I figured it out as I rarely drive the 360 at night.

The fix appears to be either replacing a power supply or replacing the glowing element. Both are kind of extreme DIY's but still possible if you're ok with a soldering iron.

Several services offer repair of the backlight. I think it's rather costly but I don't recall exactly how much.

I suggest future potential buyers of 360's and 430's include this as an item to check during the PPI as it should be fixed as a safety item.

Main culprit is a small transformer and possibly a few transistors. I actually have some of the transformers on order for a group buy but I think they are coming from Chiy-na

Is this inside the instruments? Do you have any pics?

    Thanks!

Most probable root cause is still the electroluminescent panel.
Before entering in further investigation or look for the other components, I would suggest that you check the film.

It's very likely the electroluminescent panel as others have suggested. Quite expensive if you source parts from Ferrari. Had mine "rebuilt" by some outfit near LA for a few hundred $. It did make me a little nervous sending them my instrument cluster, but they did a great job.

Is the electroluminescent panel behind the dials faces? Just so when I pull the instruments out I have an Idea what I'm looking for

I brought the film off ebay, and wasn't too difficult to install, mostly time consuming due to taking extra time, care with dismantle and reassemble of the cluster making sure it was all done correctly.
