An original P2/3 would be worth much more than that but this example is not that original. So $20 million could well be market.

0828 never had a P3 body. Started as a P2 in 1965, converted to a P2/3 for 1966 and got changed into whatever it was after, but it was not a P3 (or P4) body.

Maybe doing a test-run for an appearance at Pebble Beach? 0850 was a great surprise last year.

Curious if anyone knows if the Factory replaced the frame during the restoration by Classiche. Marcel?

just found a part of answers of my question I was lookingg at some books and found an article about 0828 in the Ferrarissima n° 9 they explain the history of the car and also the dammage when Albert Uderzo crashed it after the restauration, they explain that when the wreck was inspected at Modena 90% of the structure could be recovered ,the fire even make the chassis stronger ,the engine blok and gearbox were also retain .They also explain that the body on the car when Uderzo had the accident was fiberglass ,was it still fiberglass when owned by Fabrizio Violati ,what was the material used during 1965/66 for the body alluminium ?

Do you speak Italian? You will find some answers regarding 365 P2/3 0828 including an inspection report by Diena & Silingardi, Sport Auto of the frame (in English) after the car burned here and scroll through.

I did help some of the restorers some years ago. And the factory and Classiche as well.
Always amazing to see how people re-use material and how they think (or don't) about copyrights. Oh well. Modern world. Just steal it.

You should get on to the people you sent the pictures of the documents to and get this info removed from the site displaying the documents.

I would certainly take issue with them.

    No "?" for 1968.

Gaetano did get the car after a phone call from Enzo. We have not the year though.

    It was burnt.

Gaetano had the car completely restored, fitted with a 330 P4 engine in Modena.

He also managed to have the car homologated for road use in France and registered.

Car was registered 1211 EE 13. (13 Being for Marseille / Aix-en-Provence. Gaetan resided in Aix).

I have 2 photos of the car with these plates, 1 with Geatan aside at the gas station in Aix.

The car had too a special feature, as EVERY of Gaetan's Ferrari had.

This time, it was 12 exhaust exits.

He also had especially made for him in the 80's, 5 BB512 LM conversions, including 2 road registered "long tail", the only carburetted Testarossa that I know...

He had his plexi Daytona modified as the exact clone of the NART / LeMans Daytona Gr.4 that he owned too_One for the road, one for the track !

Today, the NART clone is considered as a period correct Gr.4 by Christian Huet in his book, and 1 of the 3 normal BB512LM conversions are in Gaetan's Nephew Collection down there.

Cherry on the cake, Gaetan has owned too 3909GT.

That got another of Gaetan's specials !

A french fries cutter front grille !

    For the skeptics :

1- You are welcome to come and see my photos. I have pics of ALL the cars and mods I'm talking about. No shipping, no exceptions.

2- 0828 purchase by Bajol from Gaetan has been told in the Club Ferrari France yearly magazine n°1 dated 1973.

    All the Best,

    Merry X-Mas.

PS : I personnally knew Gaetan. He lived 600 meters from my then home. His Nephew being my Son's Godfather.
