Dino 03724 Silver, except, which silver?

I am finally flying out of the 3rd world, and would really appreciate if someone could tell me
    which silver 03724 is.
Will be in California for a few weeks and would really like to bring back
a large(ish) color sample (solid or liquid), as Dino will be painted before Christmas. Urgent!

Thank you all for your kind help!

    Regards, Alberto

PS Is Argento Auteil Metallizzato, the only silver for '73?

    Hi Alberto,
I just checked the Dino Compendium; Matthias lists three silvers for Dinos: Argento Auteil Metallizzato (461 vehicles), Argento (1 vehicle) and Grigio Argento (1 vehicle). He doesn't indicate year-specific silvers.
Re: Your PS, I don't know, but 03724 is listed as April '72 production date.

    Alberto,

I have the Glasurit formula for 106-E-1 that was fine tuned and sent to a forum member to match against his original paint swatch as pictured above. Came out great in my estimation. The finest metallic flake is key to success.
    Here is the letter:

I am resubmitting this color sample for fine tuning. I have included the original sample and the new sample from the formula provided by your team at the Whitehouse Training Center. The new sample is a little darker than the original sample and the metallics seem slightly coarser. The original color is 106-E-1 Argento Auteil Metallizzato Silver Metallic. This is for my 1973 Ferrari 246 GT. I appreciate your efforts to help me get the color correct for my car. It has been a labor of love (plus a lot of time and money!) for over ten years and I want to get the car as close to original as possible. I sent the original sample to a fellow enthusiast with an original Scaglietti color sample book for the Ferrari Dino. He told me it was a 95% match in his estimation but should be just a touch lighter. I would be happy just matching the original sample you now have. Again, thank you for your help.

    Here is the formula:

Thank you Randle! Will give this to the paint wizards and see what they can come up with.

Paint codes can get you the color but the tough part is the broad luster.
I'm looking for the Historic Line of paints we used, sorry for the delay

With Glasurit you had to use their finest metallics to get the luster correct. Otherwise it was too sparkly.

Howard in SA, is painting his Daytona the same color, and as he found the
exact shade under a door sill, we have a match!
Hopefully in January, the sample will arrive here.
Funny story, I met Howard about 5 years ago in the UK, whilst both at Superformance.
    Small world.

Andrew, yes, it is correct, but I cannot possibly let it out of my sight,
I am certain you understand, 3rd world and all :)

We will still use it as a comparo with Howard's sample, and hopefully we will be
    less confused.

    Happy Holidays!
    Best, Alberto

Edward, really no idea. The Cromodoras I have, had the paint matched as originals, so will take a look
    tomorrow with Andrew's samples booklet.

no, is not correct.... from 1979... too much metallics....

Argento in the early 1970s had hardly any metallics...
