Thanks, Keith. After turning the key back to on (and the car-wash mode is on), do I keep the key on on? Or can I switch it to off. I just hesitate to keep the key on on while we work on the car on the lift.

    Many thanks again!

Hi everyone my name is Josh and I am a soon to be 458 owner. I was wondering if anyone on here has used a quickjack to jack up their car and if it worked ok? If not, is there a better or easier way to do it without using a two post or four post lift?

I just ran into this with mine and posted on a more focused thread in the 360/430 section. The problem is that alot of people put quickjacks at an angle to get the front and rear factory lift points and that's not really safe. A perfectly kosher way to do this is to place the jacks sideways like so:
