I really enjoy looking at those old sketches, some real talent there for sure, glad to see them getting their due in a museum setting. Thanks for posting !
I think Chuck was a little burned Mitchell had a secret design studio that the other design people couldn't get into. Even after Mitchel retired Shinoda did some work on Mitchell's motorcycles
Is there a secret guy who designed some of Giugiaro's great cars like the Bizzarrini Strada? I was shocked when I was researching the four seater Bitz and found instead a story of how the Iso A3/C was designed (which evolved into the Strada) and they mentioned a guy working under Giugiaro that devised the shape. The website said :"The body, meanwhile, was sketched out by draughtsman Piero Vanni, his drawings in turn being handed over to Nuccio Bertone’s eponymous design house. From all accounts, Bertone was horrified by what he saw. Nonetheless, stylist Giorgetto Giugiaro reinterpreted Vanni’s efforts as best he could but that was where Stile Bertone’s involvement ended. Full-scale drawings were passed to Piero Drogo’s Sports Car Modena concern. " So I never read this Vanni's name. What else did he design or is he lost in the sands of time and Giugiaro gets all the credit for the A3C/A3L and Strada shape? painting:Wallace Wyss from **********.com Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login **********.com

Instrument panel #2 a lot like De Tomaso Mangusta of the same era. Both appear influenced by airplane layouts.
