Good news for us 360 owners, I like the comparison to the Dino by one4torque. I know there were a lot of cars produced, but in addition to getting a manual I opted to try and stand out a little in terms of the future by getting the optional sunroof which is unloved by most 360 owners but I think it is cool and unusual looking and as a plus is very functional.

Jim, according to Hagerty, "A rare option was a removable roof panel that was fitted to approximately 13 coupes." If that's true then you truly have a unicorn. I would think that's valuable even if it wasn't popular in it's day. Pretty cool! I do think Hagerty's estimate that a 6-speed MT is worth $50k more than an F1 is too high. And I have a gated like you.

If you are lucky enough to find someone that thinks a sun roof car is worth more than a coupe then sell it. Ferraris should not have sunroofs, they should either be coupes or convertible with the exception of the few targas i.e. Super America. The reason there are few is because they aren't appealing.

I read that about the production numbers on the 360's with the roof. I agree with you on the 50k bump for a manual, it seems high to me also. On the bright side though we are able to insure it and include the bump in value.

It's not for sale and I'm not saying that it makes it more saleable, I am saying that it makes it more rare, and in Ferrariworld that never hurts.

From looking at the production numbers and %'s of colours ordered, I think there is approximately 120 right hand drive Giallo Modena spiders in existence.

Glad I own one, even if it has that horrid (brilliant, actually!) F1 system.

Overall change of +17% from the Hagerty prediction for the 360 (from the above link). How true is that?

without question, Hagerty has great data! One only needs to understand the data...

Agreed upon pricing means that Hagerty will insure to an agreed price and charge accordingly. They are not ignorant of the market! However, you can probably put +/- 20% error bars around the agreed-upon price. I would assume everyone wants top dollar. I have mine insured for the cost of purchase only, not "replacement" value at Hagerty. They "agreed" to accept my purchase price as the value of my car 4 years ago.

I have not updated the value since. Perhaps I should, I added a Ferrari new cover, radio, etc. since purchasing the car. I probably have a few $K getting it back to complete.

    I agree with your reasoning
The higher the agreed upon value (within some limits) the higher the premium!

Once a Ferrari reaches 20 years old, it begins appreciating again. The 360 is the last of the Dino-based ending set-up so I’ve been told. I think the future is bright for 360 values.

That said, I may trade into a California this year.

I just went onto their insurance quote website and asked them to help with value estimate. It came back with this for a gated 360 spider. Even one in “fair” condition is almost $80k. When I bought mine about 10 years ago, it was right around the lower half (fair to good) of these $ numbers, albeit I’ve about doubled the miles on it since then.

To be fair, inflation alone over 10 years would be at least 30%.
