Im sure that Marcel would have a copy obtained from me. I have no problem if he likes to publish here. I do not normally share my photos on forums due to "copyright stealing" on the internet.

I see. So you're not confusing a crash at Brands Hatch with the 1962 and 1963 3647GT crashes at Goodwood?

While I have tons of pix originating from Ted's fabulous Ferret Photo Collection I do not have a shot showing a damaged 3647 GT at Brands Hatch.

Am i the only one who thinks the rear does not look as pretty on other GTOs? I dont know what it means considering this one is supposed to be one of the most original ones but the rear looks narrower or sits higher.

Ted Walker realised after that the crashed car at The Peco Trophy, Brands Hatch, 1962 he was thinking of was Colin Davis in 250 GTO #3445GT, and not #3647GT. Ted actually gave Colin a picture of the car at the race.

I asked David Piper about who repaired the GTOs that had major damage in period, and 3647GT came up in the conversation, in which, David said that in his opinion, 3647GT would have been repaired in Italy rather than the UK after its accidents. It was actually cheaper to trailer the wrecked cars to Italy, than to get them repaired in the UK, and some of the body parts needed would only be available in Italy.

According to Doug Nye fellow Italian enthusiasts who have researched this mystery have discovered that "Fortinbras" was the racing pseudonym of Luigi Mosca's brother. Enrico Mosca, he was also the owner at the time of 3647GT.

Enrico Mosca (a.k.a. Fortinbras) was born in Rome on the 4th February 1936 and acquired GTO 3647 GT on the 22 December 1964 and paid 3 Million Italian Lire for it.

Racing names galore.... Luigi Mosca was "Ulysse", Enrico Mosca raced as "Fortinbras".

3647 GT was also raced by a certain "Notorius".

Janos Wimpffen has a relatively complete list of nom de plumes in the front of Time and Two seats. Some are hilarious.
