Recently sold my 348 Speciale, which I had extensively serviced at Classic Coach Ferrari. My new acquisition - 2006 black F430 - required a little work to bring it up to near flawless operating standard.

I made the mistake of having a “check engine light“, diagnosed by another independent service in New Jersey. A “Ferrari specialist” so I believed. A shortcut and a convenience. And an “1800 mistake”...

Three days later, the check engine light reappeared. The “other” independent mechanic replaced all four oxygen sensors and “called it a day”. I mentioned, that I discerned a “rattle” at a very specific RPM, which to him, seemed elusive.

I then brought my car to CLASSIC COACH, Elizabeth Elizabeth, New Jersey.

I kid you not, Max & Carlos identified the problem within 10 minutes of dropping of my car. Within 24 hours, they identified a few additional issues, as well as uncovered “somewhat shoddy” handy work from the prior service. True to form, when I picked up the car three days later, they had a treasure trove of nearly 100 pictures of my car from all angles, inside and out, detailing what they had done. fortunately, they also gave me a relatively “clean bill of health“, confirming that I indeed purchased a fantastic car, in great shape. A few things just needed to be cleaned up.

Allow me to provide an analogy. My wife and I are both physicians. When friends and family ask for a recommendation, there are a handful of doctors we recommend. The list is short. When it comes to Ferrari, I cannot stress this enough: CLASSIC COACH is 100%, unequivocally, the “gold standard“.

At this point, with the experience I have had with them, even my wife says, it would be “downright stupid” to bring your car to anyone else. They are the absolute best.

Besides having excellent “bedside manner“, they go the extra mile. I brought my son with me today, to pick up my car, and Max gifted him a box of genuine, Italian Panettone bread pastry. I never eat in my Ferrari, but today I made an exception, both of us ate half the loaf on our drive home, and it was wonderful.

Pic: my F430, Max Mohring, Carlos, and my little Rafa. These guys are family.

Great write-up and recommendation. I feel exactly the same way about Ferrari of Las Vegas and Rich Kansky the service manager

Classic Coach is where they do the touch up paint work on Ferraris when they are imported from factory and get scratched/dented in transport. They usually enter through port of NJ/NY
No such thing as a Ferrari that hasnt been in the rain.

Great story, I always find it fascinating how people end up in these cars. Your boy is genuinely happy, look at the smile on his face! I love the spec of your F430 too btw.

He is!! Loves the car. Thx for noticing. Best part: he uses our car, a black F430, in his racing game - Forza on Xbox. Which he claims is pretty accurate in terms of performance and handling, . But gotta be careful. Can’t have a Ferris Bueller or Risky Business type situation !

The best thing about Classic Coach on top of the quality work they provide is the Museum quality cars they have any day of the year. I miss going there. But the many times i went there, it was like having a small Pebble Beach Concours. And Onofrio is such a sweet heart!

Hey Rahul this cracks me up! My boys also re-created my Guilia QV and f430 on Forza Horizon too. For my sons birthday in October I put on a temp permit to take him to middle school (grade 6) for the first time. Memories :)

In the 90's Classic Coach was Ferrari North America's go to body shop for any work needed on new cars imported thru the Port of Elizabeth. That relationship has blossomed over the years.

Classic Coach is the best Ferrari shop in the North East. I would not take my cars to anyone else.
