I recently installed a programmable ignition with 3D ignition mapping (rpm versus boost table). It actually makes more power at less boost now because we can optimize the timing. Boost is currently limited by a Porsche coupler I am using that keeps blowing off the CIS fuel meter, and the CIS system isn't exactly out of fuel, but it's not dispensing enough for me to feel safe raising the boost. I'll probably add an additional injector in the intake plumbing. That will give me more fuel and cool the intake air (I don't have an intercooler installed yet).

So the current result is 249whp at 8psi of boost. Before the turbo the motor made a maximum of 156whp, so I am up almost 100whp!

    That's awesome!!

Would LOVE to turbo my 3.4L Restomod 308 GTS! It already makes around 300 whp

If need to add more fuel, i could give you a few good pointer with the CIS system. Bit of a self proclaimed master of CIS with many years of tuning and modifying them back in my porsche days. Anyway a good way to to enrich the system 2 fold is to use a injector Teed off the WUR (warm up regulator) line that goes to the top center of the fuel distributor. This will do 2 things, one the added injector adds fuel as it should but also by bleeding down the WUR circuit its enriches the hole system.

    Parts:
Controller: you can use a simple RPM or PSI switch to turn on the injector, this is the easiest . Another option is to get a sub injector controller, this will actually allow you to "tune" the fuel deliver somewhat and works well.

Injector: Couple options here. you can just make your own.( get an injector, fuel line and fittings that work). I have also used a bosch cis cold start injector( any one works), they are easy to mount and most of the time a used one will come with the fuel line with the right fitting on the end. And last you can find used injectors for "Lamda" kits from the 80s that where used on USA imports to meet EPA requirements. the injector is called CIS Fuel Injection Frequency Valve. Alot of the parts can be found with a little searching.
Hope this helps somewhat. and if you have CIS questions im happy to help

That's smart advice. The ignition controller I am using is not the antique Electromotive box. It's a full stand alone ECU, so I could add full EFI at a later date (and I probably will), but this car is sort of a test bed for new ideas and products. But for now I plan to replace the rubber accordion hose with an aluminum one and weld an additional injector bung there and control it with a PWM output from this ECU. I plan to grab fuel off the cold stat injector (I bought a double banjo bolt to do this). The reason I want to add the additional fuel so early in the intake tract is one learned from LOTUS. On the later Esprit turbos they found a bunch of intercooling just from injecting the additional fuel into the intake about 18 inches from the valve. That gave the fuel plenty of time to absorb heat from the intake air. So it should act somewhat like a chemical intercooler. This is the same reason that I don't want to grab fuel from the WUR location you mentioned (brilliant idea though), I actually want to maximize the amount of fuel injected at the additional injector so that I can get the most cooling. Hopefully with the "liquid intercooler" I can safely run about 13psi and reach the magical 300whp mark.

See your logic with wanting the cooling effect. And it sound like you know what your doing. Take this with a grain of salt, when ever i ever needed enrichment its best to start with bleeding down the WUR circuit first. You bleed it back into the return line or bleed in into the intake doesnt matter. But by bleeding it down the fuel distributor send more fuel to all injectors equally. But just using a sub injector in the intake, distribution isnt always equal and some cylinders can run hotter and leaner. I have experienced this. BUT i will say i use single sub injectors to this day and have 100s of time and will continue to....none of the above is in anyway meant to "school" you and hope you dont take it as such. I love your project and just want to help. And hell im always open to keep learning so maybe you have logic that i havnt consider.

First I don't mind being taken to school. Haha, I appreciate it actually. Yes. I've been looking at doing an ignition system for a long time, but why limit myself to just that? The system uses the ECUMaster Classic EMU. I use the same system to run my 1000hp MR2....for the prototype I actually borrowed this box from my MR2. haha. I've done EFI conversions on a Mondial 3.2 and my 308 in the past, but I haven't done a 2V yet. I'm still trying to decide what I like for injectors and rail setup because the angled injectors on the 2V intakes make it impossible to add a normal fuel rail on top.
