don’t post stuff like that around here .... some people refuse to want the TR prices to go up like Dino or Daytona prices.

 

Interesting....TR value’s per the article are-

Hagerty #2 value: $96,000-108,000

which is precisely what Natkingcolebasket69 has been saying for a while now.

 

But while let the facts get in the way of a good narrative

 

you must be reading something different than the rest of us. Hag is talking about pricing pushing back up ... not like some of you saying the opposite that they are coming back down to earth

My reference is that article is calling the tr to being bullish, while others prefer to talk it down.

im sure someone will come along and claim their cousins neighbour bought one for 70k private and say “ see they are out there” and they are not worth 100k ...

And my point in all this - why are some of you constant posters in here always glad to hammer the price down on this car ????

please spare me the facts , we know what those are - I’m referring to the lengthy ongoing back handed analysis of when the car sells at “x” that the price was too high. Feel free to check the last 214 pages on this for your reference.

After the comments by the author (Colin Comer....who happens to live in the same city as I do and I have met and seen him at many many car shows over the years...have you??)
Hagerty provides statistics on the car.
One of which is their current TR valuation metric. 96-108k

I appreciate the fact that you have your opinion on where prices are and may be going. We all do. That’s what makes a market, right?
But don’t do like the fake news media does and only show one part of the story.
If you are going to reference an article, then be fair and reference the entire article.

They shot up in 15 , they shot up this summer with some examples (posted here too by me) at 170k. Just like the stock market they are hot right now but the last examples on BAT, specifically red and maybe less tidy did less well than the others. I don’t think anything said here impacted the sales- see the few on BAT that are silver.
if something isn’t rare it’s hard to justify high valuation. 9 TRs went on sale this past month on BAT.
Eventually given that there are less and less good examples available they will, and it’s unavoidable, go up. I said that multiple times and of course it’s just my 2 cents

It’s already at $88k. It just sold in May for $105k. The flippers are back.

 

dont think he will make anything on it .... hes at 110 with fees, then it looks like he has receipts for 21k in service / paint. 131k .... doubt the car brings that.

Curious to know about the paint work. The previous auction doesnt mention it needed paint.

 

Actually the seller is on this forum and has a large collection, he manifested himself back then on here

102k, paid 105+5 in may+20k service- so TR cost 28k for 7 months so like 4k a month.

Anyhow great looking car and great purchase price for a car that seems fully sorted! Congrats to the buyer.

It did not sell at $102k. Reserve was not met

 

Oh my chrome acted up again, it was saying sold.
Well makes sense to keep it then money wise! He had it for 119k on auto trader. I will guess he might have wanted around it
