I made chili the other night. I remembered Tom posting about the chili recipe here using chuck instead of ground beef so I tried it. Not sure I found the right recipe but the one I saw in a quick search said something about chipotle peppers. While at the store the other night I grabbed stuff to make the chili. Got home and cut up the chuck roastish looking piece of meat, some onions and a little garlic. Threw all that in the fryin pan to brown a bit and broke out the slow cooker. It's DEAD. :(

I grabbed a big can of Rotel to use for the tomatoes and tossed that and the chipotle peppers in..with the sauce. I prolly shouldn't have used the entire can but it was a wee little one. Holy schnikies that was some HOT chili.:oops: Ate it last night for dinner with some cheese and sour cream it didn't seem too bad. Phewwww it was spicy and tasty but probably less chipotle next time though. ;)

:) It was not 12oz. It was the smallest one, I think maybe 4oz...it was only like 3-4 peppers in it. But yeah it was HOT! It was tasty though and I will be trying it again sometime.

I feel like fish n chips, but have my brother over, he doesn't like fish. We are thinking of doing the dinner for four at the Chinese place.

My favorite Chinese place in my town closed down. Probably better for my health. ;)

I made Swedish meatballs last night. I don't think I've ever made them before but they came out very tasty!! Will have leftovers tonight for dinner.

    Great stuff gents ^^

my dinner was “meh”. Ate some of the caviar that I ordered from Costco with some veuve clicquot.

last time I had caviar with was Ania and she baked homemade blinis, and these store bought one that came in the caviar order where sub par.

The caviar was not great, sorta flavorless.

And this bottle reminded me that I don’t like this brand of champagne.

Win some, lose some. Tonight was meh at best.

The pics look cool, so I’ll share a few of those...

If you like Michael Malice, he did a recent live stream while trying 15 types of caviar.

I for one have absolutely no desire.

Left over Chinese take out last night.................. Tonight I'm thinking McDonalds at Walmart. You get a free coke glass when you buy an extra value meal. I'm a sucker for a good deal!

I don't, but the best burnt ends we ever had were in KC. I think it's a local specialty. Oklahoma Joes was one place and Gates was the other. If you can find an online recipe by any of the places in Kansas City, that's the direction I would go.

dump everythig in a slow cooker -
beef chuck, carrots, onions, garlic, dried mexican peppers, spices, canned tomatoes, chx stock, apple cider vinegar. simmer 8 hrs low.
shred beef with fork and fill tacos with cheese, scallions, cilantro and saute in fat skimmed off slow cooker.
dip tacos into broth with lime juice.
