I would say Warren Mosler also did a similar thing to what JG is doing. There just was not a focus on Ring performance or 24 hour race events.
Would look better with the grey body and black fenders like the 2-dr. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Getting serious. It will be an all out effort. Multiple Le Mans 24 Hrs winner Joest Racing has been brought in Glickenhaus to bolster its maiden World Endurance Championship assault in 2021 with the SCG 007 Hypercar. https://www.autosport.com/wec/news/154464/joest-racing-teams-up-with-glickenhaus-for-wec-project?fbclid=IwAR1zfsXmdp81lnTWwxAT3__dc5NANeCs9dvwHssuD9gcZG20dz4smFx2pLc .

“SCG 009 Concept Liquid Hydrogen Fuel Cell. Range NY-LA One's grasp should always exceed one's reach” Cool concept, but I don’t know how viable the idea is of liquid hydrogen? Or how safe for that matter. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'd like to know that as well, he often says his cars are better than almost anything on road today, ad nauseam, there is no lack of people with that kind of money to buy it...but it seems they rather buy Zondas, Koenigsegg and other weird stuff.
He mentioned on Instagram under a post when someone asked the same question that there is another 003S, that is a customer car but it would be up to the customer to show it, I’ll try to find that comment.
I think the price of the 003S is such that it would be a “gamble” to a lot of customers, I think we’ll be seeing more 004Ss and Boots more so than the 003S... thought if I had the money I’d definitely have one.
Here you go guys, Glickenhaus’ comments about production 003’s. Also Glickenhaus commented that there are 6 003’s, 4 of which are 003C and 2 are 003S. https://www.instagram.com/p/CJoc5pagsdB/?igshid=1qef4o6ufa5cy Image Unavailable, Please Login
and I believe 1 of those is his personal car. At $3 mil? you're talking Koenigsegg or Pagani money. Tough sell. But, I think he will sell plenty of Boots and 004's. Thing is, people in that rare market already have 5, 10, 20 cars. They buy whatever they want and some want what nobody else has. I've been to a car show (Dream Ride, CT) where there were 3 Koenigsegg's and 11 Pagani's. The cars that get the most attention are the one's like the only Apollo IE. I'm a little surprised he hasn't sold more 003S's. Too race car, obscure and a gamble (as said) maybe? .
“We have a chicken and egg problem with hydrogen fuel cell technology,” explains BMW expert Rücker. “As long as the network of refueling stations for hydrogen-powered cars is so thin, the low demand from customers will not allow for profitable mass production of fuel cell vehicles. And as long as there are hardly any hydrogen cars on the roads, the operators will only hesitantly expand their refueling station network.” https://www.bmw.com/en/innovation/how-hydrogen-fuel-cell-cars-work.html 10 Things You Didn’t Know about Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicles in America https://www.autoweek.com/news/technology/g32203425/10-things-about-hydrogen-fuel-cell-vehicles-in-america/ .
I think Jim is going to face a problem soon that is a microcosm of the current supercars market. It can easily be summed up as "When everything is special, nothing is". Everything cool and spaceship looking is a dime a dozen now.
Just another one Stradale? Is Glickenhaus not interested in producing that one anymore? Or is there no demand? I'd take a 003 Stradale over any of the Ksegg, Bugatti or Paganis out there.
