Its Sunday, so that has become my "griddle breakfast day". I guess its a "regardless of weather event"...because it was freakin' freezin' out there today (see temp in first pic). I have so much fun cooking on this griddle, even when I can't feel my hands... (sadly I was running around at the end and over-cooked the eggs - wanted them runny) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login After "CnC" (chop and cholula) Image Unavailable, Please Login

That looks awesome. Sunday’s are the fancy breakfast day here. Every other day is yogurt, berries, and sweet feed.
Fancy indeed! I saw yours and realized I'd better start labeling mine "dive diner" or "rustic breakfast" Looks great! Vanilla scone? Is that homemade sausage? (I recon start doing sausage instead of bacon after this package runs out) Where did the cheese go?
Scone is from Wegmans, nothing fancy but they are tasty. Package of about 12. Think they’re even kosher. Walking by and they looked good. Noticed the kosher part when I was there the next time. Basic sausage from there also. Standard big tube package, mild Italian and a breakfast one. I’d love to do homemade sausage - one of these days. Maybe there were two slices of cheese... one for the girls and the other went into the eggs. They love that cheese. Once they hear that wrapper come off...
^ Love those circle eggs things. We used them all the time for bagel egg sandwiches. Toasted bagel, American cheese, ketchup, hot sauce... mmmm. Miss those days when bagels, bread, and carbs didn’t mean anything.
Standard breakfast. Blackberries were especially good. Should have picked up a bigger package! Image Unavailable, Please Login
My brother! Strawberry Siggis & some granola. Piece of fruit and I should be good to a mid-afternoon snack...T
Scrambled eggs with onion, red pepper, and tomatoes. Piece of American cheese too. Vanilla scones for dessert. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

That's dedication. 7.7 F is too cold for me. I once smoked a turkey in mid-20s F, and that was only because it was Xmas, and I had no choice! Made my own skyr - Icelandic yogurt (Siggi's!). Used this recipe. https://www.thespruceeats.com/how-to-make-icelandic-skyr-2952738 Was pretty easy. The only hard part was waiting; waiting for milk to slowly reach scalding temp. Waiting for the scalded milk to recued back down to 110 F. Waiting overnight for the curds to form. Waiting for the curds and whey to separate. Should help get more liquid pressed out. Image Unavailable, Please Login Final product with a little maple syrup, some granola, and some dried cherries. Our local Mexican restaurant is going to be closed for 2-weeks for the holidays, so I took an extra meal home when I had lunch there yesterday... Today, I turned a beef-and-potato-filled chili relleno into breakfast with the addition of some fried eggs. Ate with their great flour tortillas. Yummy! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Made another batch last night. Several mods based on what I learned in round # 1. Went with half-gallon of milk; more conducive to the size cookware I have. More stirring during the scalding phase, being careful not to not touch the bottom of the pot with the whisk (any burnt milk is down there). Bought some nylon mesh bags @ Amazon to make pressing out the liquids from the curds more efficient and easier. T
Nice Tom Growing up my Aunt was perpetually making yogurt and Roti having married an East Indian. She taught me the Roti but not the yogurt. I just remember her throwing salt in and always a stainless steel bowl sitting on her counter. Fresh Roti just deflated with lots of melted butter plus that yogurt = mmmmmmm! I’m going to have to call her up. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Thanks for the kind words, and please call your aunt up. Many is the time that I wish I had written down one of my grandmother's recipes, rather than having to wing it based on a taste I remember from 30 years ago. Merry Christmas to you and your family...T
Cookies! But all yous guys Sunday special pictures made me throw extra crispy fries in the oven, and I’m deciding how to do the eggs while I wait. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat

Its Christmas, so moved up "sunday-griddle-day" to this morning...cold out (10F) but didn't stop me from playing short-order line cook... (finally managed to leave the eggs a bit runny) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
You love a hearty breakfast. I can't eat that much in the AM. I had some homemade skyr with a little granola, plus an English muffin from a batch my sister sent me, and I was stuffed until about 3 PM. Looks good though!...T
