VW Cornflower Blue is in fact Voodo Blue. We lined up my GT3 next to a Cornflower VW and they were identical. Regardless its a beautiful color.
Yep looks hot! Sounds hot too. And they know how to engineer a car which delivers the goods for street and track.
Lets start off with a Happy Thanksgiving. In regards to whether these cars are track cars, I think we can argue they are all poser cars to some extent. I made that exact comment about my Pista after my last track day. Fact is these cars are made for a day here and there but for any real tracking you will need to mod the car - brakes, alignment, tires, etc. I will say in my experience Porsche probably does it best but even so they are not race cars.
You certainly are not the purveyor of endless , biased OPINIONS. They are all truths. Thanks for that.
Exactly if you want to spend a lot of time on the track get a real track car. Image Unavailable, Please Login
We should conduct a survey on this forum about who and how often cars are tracked: 1. Never tracks their cars 2. Occasionally < than 5 times per year. 3. Often > than 10 times per year. Would be interesting.
Very interesting indeed. For my part, I do not track my street cars. I have just enough time to drive them on public roads a couple times a week. I purchased a professional motion racing simulator to scratch the track itch until I have more time (too busy with wife, kids, business pursuits). Here’s a review post on the system and link to the unit itself: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/146847685/ https://www.simcraft.com/apex-pro-5dof-racing-simulator-chassis-motion-system-yaw-pitch-roll-sway-surge-full-service/ Eventually, when I do make my way to the track, it will be in a purpose built race car, with safety considerations driving that decision. Ironically, it will probably be in a Porsche variant like this: https://www.porsche.com/usa/motorsportandevents/motorsport/customerracing/racingcars/911-gt2-rs-clubsport/

If only the actual car looked like the renderings. I suppose it’s nothing Novitec can’t fix with a set of lowering springs and 21” wheels.
agrees! I know I know. but shark blue is very likely going to be the launch color of 992 gt3. I am sure both looks 99.9% similar, but will have different codes. I am sure those who pay 13k for pts voodoo blue will be pissed, just like those who did for miami blue, which was available as standard color for gt4. Same as racing yellow. we are just all suckers to cars. Porsche: let's add one more pint of white to the blue and call it something else. The suckers will pay for it. Us: how much?
We are waay past need. And yes u do STO excites me like no other car of late !!! Going to be sensational
Funny how different things appeal to different people. STO does absolutely nothing for me whatsoever.
