$1500 for springs is daylight robbery
Agreed. But man for me it’s unacceptable that the GT3 runs so firm, handles so sporty, while the 458 spider bounces all over the place. I got my bud to sell them to me for $1k. At least I got a good deal. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I paid $790 for my Novitec springs used for one summer and for labor I paid $1000. Parts from US and labor in Sweden.
400 for alignment?????? I hope that includes camber adjustment! Toe only is about 35mins for both axles. Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Looks great, you obviously don't have front lift system, with the front lift no way to get factory springs this low
I had them on my Speciale, which required the spring perches to be adjusted UP because the Novitec springs are stupidly short. Drove the car for 5 years on the road and track. Now with the Pista, I just lowered the car to adjust corner balance and lower the wheel gap a bit, and the ride is fine. If I wanted a tuned spring spring, I'd probably opt to buy a custom one from Eibach and do a group buy on a kit (50 min order). I'm not sure there's much "tuning" involved with Novitec's springs
Lowered just enough with Novitec sport springs. I do have the front lift system. Looking good now, IMHO, and handles way better too. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app Image Unavailable, Please Login
i had them on mine. While the car looked great and drove great, my problem was that i didn't have the lifter option. so every incline, even at an angle, would make me cringe. same with some backroads... unless they were perfectly smooth i would scrape the underside of the bumper sometimes. the ride quality wasn't bad at all though. most guys i gave a ride to. even hpde instructors.. were surprised how comfy it was (even with my carbon buckets) for how low the car sat. so thats the dichotomy ... either you have a car that sits like a 4x4 but you can enjoy driving everywhere. Or you lower it, it looks great, and have to deal with scraping your underbody every so often. I sold the car once the gt3 was offered in a manual. never looked back.
I have a 2018 GT3 MT and the 458. Love them both! But I must admit the ride and suspension on the GT3 is absolutely the best. Comfy but firm and sporty. Having said this, the 458 ride now with the novitec is pretty awesome too.
