Can anybody advise of some shops that have good experience with mid-70s to early 80s Ferrari and Lamborghini cars? Looking for mostly engine experience etc.

    Thank you.

Tony Fernandes in Baintree used to do Lambos. Not sure currently.
Long way to send a car for service but Gary Bobileff is highly regarding. Visited his shop when he did a PPI on my former Euro TR. Filled with classic Lambos and Ferraris!

Thank you Spider 348. And yes we are here to service all vintage Ferrari's from 60s 70s 80s both Ferrari and Lamborghini Models. We are currently expanding next door opening a service repair dedicated for Lamborghinis Only. separate from the Ferrari shop come in and enjoy our new service facility.

I am in the Boston area and ideally I would want to find somebody within a ~2 hr driving radius. I will check out Autohaus. Anybody else I should be looking at?

Second RPM, also IFS is great, if you make it down here to CT, we have some great shops around the Fairfield and Litchfield county areas too.

Closer to you there is another place called Boston Sportscar Company in Weston Mass. Their internet presence dropped off a long time ago so don't know if they are still in business or not but I believe they still are. Never did business with them personally but have read good things about them here.
Also like previously mentioned John Tirrell of Independant Ferrari Service seems to have an excellent reputation also he is in south easton mass.

My 2 cents. John Tirrell @ IFS is the best. He maintained my '66 330 GT while I owned it and now my '72 365GTC4, both to the highest standards.

I have seen the work of John at IFS on a Daytona, and it was exceptional. He knows his way around older Ferraris!

We are very lucky to have IFS and Autohaus close! Used both, excellent work.
I do not know how much, if any, IFS works on Lamborghinis.
I have been in Autohaus and viewed several Lamborghini V-12s in various stages of rebuild/repair.
