The car is cat delete pipes as well as a capristo level 1 which I put on the car 15 years ago.The car has always sounded incredible.
Since fitting the manifolds it has made no difference to the sound or power of the car that I have noticed.

I wouldn’t use ceramic coatings either. Awhile back there were some members there were not only ceramic coating the outside of the headers but the inside as well. I thought that was risky. Again every one has different risk tolerances.

I've been offered the Nouvalaris for £1720 plus VAT, hard to beat that price...

That's good news. As expected of a 4-2-1 design.

That's a fair price. Larini doesn't have to beat it, just have to come close :).

They are equal lengths with larger pipe diameter. Piece of art, no others are comparable

How does one even coat the inside thoroughly enough? For a coating to be effective, it needs to be a certain thickness and evenly distributed. Either way, I think I'm done with coating in general, unless the part is not too important.

I have requested several times but they say they have no photos. I asked them to make during production of another set

I looked several times. What should I be looking at? Is the material better? What? Better welds, better design?

I’m not against 4-1 design headers just because. I just don’t think they are ideal for the 355 for a few reasons.

I purchased 4-1 headers for my Exige 5 years ago. They are made in CA. 321 Stainless. Cost about $1800. Some of the nicest weld work I’ve seen. But I wouldn’t choose a header over another because of nice welds. I look at the specs. So yea, it’s going to take more than some nice welds here and there to get me to buy.

Those are some well built headers Ken. Looks very nice. I have 4-1’s on my Pantera but torque is not an issue with my motor.

If there is just free convection on the cool side that's pretty impressive. With air forced over the cool side it would be even lower temperature at equilibrium.

My bad. The Exige headers are actually 4-2-1, but I remember when I ordered them looking at pics on the site at a quick glance, I totally thought they were 4-1. Still ordered. Too many car parts :).

Just realize, the outside temperature is totally dependent on the ability of the surface to transfer heat to the surroundings, also, thickness. By the way, is that a layered material with internal blanket?

JP Exhausts in the UK looks like they build a nice set of F355.

When you see 3 manufactures offering unshielded headers it makes you wonder is the shields are really necessary, particularly if you are just street driving.
