Can you comment on sound and power?

Add Nouvalari to the list of 4-2-1 options:

    1. Tubi
    2. Larini
    3. Nouvalari
    4. Stainless Headers

These would be a great candidate for Inconel shielding :). Send em off to Thermo
    met..

Before you pull the trigger I would contact Larini to see if they would be willing to so their manifolds without any heat shielding. Price point might be the same as Nouvalari's. It could also end up being a better product.

I think it is important to factor in the cost of what route you guys are taking for heat management and then make apples to apples price comparisons. Running manifolds in our cars without heat management is a bad idea.

Personally, I have had bad luck with a ceramic coat on my RX-7 manifold which eventually peeled off. Another gentlemen in the 430 section was not impressed with his Zircotec coating, which is one of the more expensive options. Perhaps even the best option.

In regards to blankets. I think Capristo offers the best one and it still ran hot in my Scud. TTForce reported the same on his other cars with Capristo manifolds/blankets. Capristo has been around for a long time, so it was the best option we have had for decades. There's new stuff on the block I think owners should consider. Bespoke heat shielding or just drop the money on Tubis and call it a day. There's no way around it. You're gonna spend the money one way or the other... whether it be on shields or melted/destroyed parts.

What would make it a better product do you think?
Running the manifolds with out heat shields is not as bad an idea on our cars. Many cars run them without problems, including mine. The areas that need shielding are protected. There is not the extreme extra heat that people who have not done it seem to think there is.
So you have some one right here with first hand real world experience.

I don’t think some of our techs that come on here would agree with that. That is great that you haven’t had any problems. Everything is good until it isn’t.

Mate, dont really care about what they might come on here and say. I have owned ferraris for many decades and do all my own work on them. Theres not much that I dont know about my own cars.

If heat doesn't physically damage stuff in our engine bays, at the very least it does aesthetic damage. More often than not, we have one of the more beat up looking engine bays compared to say .. a 360 or 430... and that's with OEM headers w/ shields. Personally, I'd choose to minimize that as much as possible.

I will let everyone know when and if that ever happens.
Talking about every thing is ok until its not. Did you see that f430 that has the new ceramic coating catch fire during the making of a YouTube video? Everything was ok with ceramic coating until it's not ;)

The car has 65k miles on ;)
The 4 k miles was since the manifolds were fitted, which is 4 years worth of average ferrari driving lol.

It is your car so you are entitled to do anything you want with it. I wouldn’t run anything without some sort of shielding on mine, that is why these headers along with Fabspeed’s wouldn’t be an option for me, not to mention a few other issues with their construction.

The main thing is that if you are happy with them, then that is great.
