The reason I "know so much" is my use of the ANSA. Once it is on the car, the four tips ae about 1" wider, than the OEM! So the original screen won't fit...they tossed it away! I borrowed the part as a sample and the shop lost it...so, I have has the pleasant experience of buying a new one and giving it back for the loan! I had a pattern made, and then you have to find the stagger slot metal.. So any of you NON CAT owners running the ANSA, my Hot Rod Fab Shop is going to make some "replicas" that will actually fit, and hide the muffler as intended. He must be reading along as he wants "$450 each, paid in advance" to do one. Which is what an OEM unit costs, shipped from the UK! But I was going to make two (they are very likely to get damaged that low in the rear) and maybe we get him doing three or four he would back off that price. It is what it is. It would be a shame t cut up a new ANSA, to make the tips correct. Odd they would be "just a little bit of" like that...the oval trim part will be very tight to the angled corner of the shroud at the end of the day with my new ones... To recap, no 'glass car has been found with mounting holes, to my knowledge... The CAT equipped cars got the later shroud. I guess there's a lot of these "laying around" any old shop. You see one now and then on EBay...usually well worn, I've seen one that was cut in half to move the tips CLOSER together!
I finally got to take a few pics of the car, not the part. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm wondering if the part on my part is broken. Like I have a piece ofnthe part still attached and missing the perforated metal piece.
It was a Metal Fab Shop, that I had used for years in business, lot's of money.. But of the two partners one disliked me, personally....so in a Shop cleaning I definitely feel it was "tossed in the dumpster"... I lost my YORK AC compressor and pulley in almost the same way. A friend left employ on bad terms and "forgot it under the bench".... Sigh
Interesting. My car is a '76 NON CAT, with the factory exhaust shroud and an ANSA exhaust. There are no issues with the exhaust tips aligning with the cut-outs in the exhaust shroud. That being said, the car had the original exhaust ("thermal reactor") until a couple years ago when the previous owner did a mechanical restoration / upgrade. Based on the seller's records, a modern ANSA exhaust was sourced from Classiche Exhaust in Texas, from the ANSA factory in Modena, Italy (PN FR 1940). The exhaust is listed in their catalogue as being for a GT/4, and is appropriate for the non-cat 2v cars. https://www.classiche09.com/en/product/ferrari-dino-308-gt-4-22-usa-model-74-80/

I have long toyed with the idea of having something as you pictured, made. I run the ANSA sport exh and had to cut out the diaper holes to make it fit. I would be up for buying one if a small run is made. (ref BigTex post) Doug
There are maybe some field measurements to be made, as the tips CAN be tight to the Mail Slot Valence, but the distance below the tips at the point they exit the shroud, is greater....allows for the oval plate although it is chopped off where it meets the mounting flange!
