Yes...But i find it a little odd that the owner says the car was restored in Italy between 2007 to 2012 but there is no record of it. Plus the add says " power steering and power brakes "

The car was not restored by Carrozzeria Fantuzzi in Modena in 2007, as mentioned. Simply because in 2007 Fantuzzi did no longer exist, this company ceased to exist many years earlier already. Fiorenzo Fantuzzi, son of Medardo Fantuzzi, is personally known to me since 1977.
The data ID tag is not the original one but a later reproduction.
I also suggest to carefully look at the 2012 history report that has been posted.

Certainly interesting to see history discrepancies between various documents.
Could make one question or wonder about other claims.

having a critical eye on the car - and since im in the middle of a car we are doing at a platinum level, there is a solid page of issues that we can see from the pictures.....

now having said that, i would only critique this car, based on it said "achieved platinum" !

nice driver car......IMO - and nothing wrong with that

Hello, I'm the seller. Yes, the VIN stamped on right side is normal. The power steering was editorial mistake and deleted by Bring-A-Trailer shortly after auction listing started. Thanks

Hello, I'm the seller. The restoration history was spelled out in an email between John Collins and Tom Hartley prior to the car getting exporting to the US. A copy of that email is in the photo gallery on Bring-A-Trailer. Thanks

Hello, I'm the seller. The work on the page with issues were the items corrected for Platinum judging. It achieved a Platinum Award in 2014 which is pictured in the photo gallery on Bring-A-Trailer. Thank you.

Hello, I'm the seller. The only current discrepancy is that the body wasn't done by Carrozzeria Fantuzzi. Marcel Massini stated they weren't in business at that time but research shows overwise. I'm looking further into this. I also commented about this on Bring-A-Trailer. What other claims are you wondering about?

Hello Marcel, I'm the seller. First, I respect that fact that your an expert in the Ferrari world which I appreciate. I quoted your comment here on Bring-A-Trailer. I've done some personal research and have learned that Fantuzzi is still existing and operating. I found sites and links from 2009-2016. Larry Alderson is going to contact you to get to the bottom of this topic regarding who did the body work. I'd like to get to the bottom of this. Thank you.

Seems like it sold for a fair price, about what I would expect in the market. A bit more than a comparable Daytona.

Again: Fiorenzo Fantuzzi (son of coachbuilder Medardo Fantuzzi) in Modena is personally known to me since decades (at least since 1978) and NO, his company closed many years ago. Carrozzeria Fantuzzi does NO longer exist.

Actually: Fantuzzi closed 25 years ago (1995).
I also forgot to mention that John F. Kennedy is no longer President of the U.S..

congrats to the seller! I remember 20 years ago (even 3 years ago?) when GTC's were less than Daytonas. I love the GTC, but don't get why Daytonas aren't comparatively higher. I guess there are other threads about that.

Or, alternatively, why GTCs aren't lower.

Personally, I think the GTC is more of a 1960s car, and the Daytona is more of a 1970s car. Right now, the 1960s cars are more in demand.
