To be fair. They greeted me. I was given time and space, perhaps too much that I lost interest. There is that balance, you know. That is where the art comes of being a good people reader. It was just too hands off. His phone and other things around were more important. You see... They base their craft on experience and building a bond, some establish a cookbook formula that works the majority of the times because people who are going to buy a Ferrari, will buy a Ferrari. They bank that there aren't many Ferrari dealerships around. It is not like a Toyota or Ford dealership, you stand in one and you can potentially throw a rock and hit the next one nearby.

They should also learn on how to read people and if they do, they usually don't expect to be read back, because why would we? We are there to buy a car. Within minutes of being in the dealership, I knew I wasn't going to buy my car there. I looked at cars and often looked at the sales representative that greeted me. He wasn't there for me, so he lost a 400k F8 sale. I took my business elsewhere the following weekend. My experience in the other dealership couldn't possibly have been more different. I was treated as if I had bought a car every year on the year.

There is a balance, there is an art. Poker is not only played in the casinos.

Custom spec, but really didn’t like it. Was a known risk going in as the 488s we had was a total dog relative to what I prioritize. Similar to your experience....doesn’t stir the soul as much. No denying it looked stellar!

 

Alright then it must've been FBH, which was going to be my first choice because of the location, but since I didn't have the most pleasant experience at Newport, went with that one first.

Quite the resume... Not quite an unblemished or a proud one... I guess the post goes along with the tone and the assumptions made were spot on. I am thinking, after this post... he won't return. If he does, it may be in years, or remains anonymous, changes names; or after it is all forgotten as long as he doesn't create any further waves.
