Tell me about it. So happy for everyone but mine was at 60 a couple of weeks ago and still nada on the photo front. So jealous
You have to love timing like this...not an hour after I posted this...this showed up. And I totally feel for you Glenn...your next! Image Unavailable, Please Login

I think that it looks better with the number plate mounted further back, like in this photo. Will be interested to see where the number plate is mounted on customer’s cars in Europe. Further forwards (as in most demo cars) detracts from the nose & front of the car.

With all my respect, please don't. Your Scud is a highly exclusive, low production model. Where, in comparison, the Roma will be a mass production car.
That license plate is a Zürich dealer plate. Fortunately in Switzerland the law allows the front plate to be smaller than the plate for the rear. Marcel Massini
Quick question to those who have cars on or close to shipping. My car has been status 60 for 3 weeks. how long were you all on 60 before it moved to testing/prep for shipping?
Thank you for your input. I know what the Scud is. I am considering keeping it just for the investment aspect of it, although I plan on a major investment acquisition next year and could redeploy the funds there. If I was to keep the car to make that happen, even though I have a 4 car garage, I would have to sell something else or put in a lift. I don't drive the car much now as it is and would do so less with another car to drive. I am going to wait until spring and make a final decision. I completely understand how some wouldn't understand why someone would sell a Scud, which provides a singularly thrilling automotive experience, to buy a Roma. I have been driving sports cars for over 50 years, including racing a 911 for 11 years. So I have had my time with high performance sports cars. I never had a pure GT car and fancy one at this point of my life. I will still have a 911 GTS cab when I want the sports car experience. I know the Porsche is no where near the Scud but also much more comfortable and my wife drives it. She won't drive the Scud, doesn't even like to be a passenger. The Scuderia is the most special car I have owned and I know I will miss it
I get it. I don't generally like to keep things I don't use. Having spent a good deal of time in racecars as well, I appreciate a thrilling vehicle that can genuinely be experienced on the road now. Interesting that you consider your GTS cab more of a sports car experience than the Roma will be. After driving the Roma, I don't think it will be less of a sports car experience than my last Porsche, which was pretty raw for a 911.
For those 9/27waiting for cars etc. this has tracked for my last 3 Ferrari's give or take a week. The last was my Pista and this is the timeline: 10 G 7/31 20 9/27 40 10/3 First Picture 10/23 Second Picture 10/30 70 10/30 85 11/8 90 11/11 92 12/17 1/20 Arrived in Chicago. For some of the stages like 60 I did not get the update but you can see it moves along once you hit 40
To be honest, after driving the Roma for less than 1/2 hour mostly on the freeway it was hard for me to tell the level of sporting driving experience the Roma will provide. The car has been positioned as a GT and I have always considered 911's (on my 5th) to be sports cars. If the Roma is indeed more sports car than GT while providing the comfort and amenities of a GT, all the better.
