I like this guy. He has 458 and knows Ferrari well. He just did a very nice comparison video between the two. I thought it was well done and objective. Here it is
It’s not. Even displacement is different. But if you like such facts, then you can say that 458 is a Cali “not T” under the bonnet.
If you want to kick this off, at least do a better job of being less obvious. Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Hey so wouldn't that in fact mean that the 458 is a Maserati?,) Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Only when you trade it at the dealer and get your F8 Spider. And you’ll also be my new best buddy, Kirk.
The car guys did a better job at this comparison in my opinion, and they blew out the 458 drivers window! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Speaking of that , I wonder if I’m going to have to pay them to take it in trade ? Maybe I’ll just give it to someone I don’t even like and stick them with it. Hmmmm. Decisions. And for you 458 fans , I found this old pic of me sitting behind my old 458 upon startup. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Jeez Kirk, we gotta work on your image. If you’re gonna sell a car, you need better pics. Take this one from my recent The Tail of the Dragon Run and post it as yours (after photoshopping the obligatory Nero). Your pic, however, had me in stitches. On Friday I was inside a Lambo dealership in Charlotte (I know, I know), and because the top got stuck, was asked to start the car to get it to open. Well, I started it, but made the mistake of goosing it ‘just a little’. What was I thinking?! Like a bomb went off, I scared everyone ****less (even me), and almost blew the windows out of the place. Not invited back unless it’s for a purchase. Maybe you should rethink that complimentary ride in your F8 Spider when it arrives, just sayin’. Yes, I’m envious! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Funny part is , before I ordered my 488 spider I went to Lambo to test drive a Huracan spider. I sat in the car and couldn’t move the seat back far enough for my liking even though they had it adjusted further back than normal. If I could have fit I probably would have bought one. I didn’t want a coupe which I fit in just fine.
Nuff said. Exactly the case with me. Can’t do a coupe in FL - against the law. Soft top seating position is worse than a church bench (going by memory here). I keep trying to fit a square peg into a round hole and it ain’t workin’. Works great for the wife, but she’d fit and look good in anything......however she’d be too scared to drive it, LOL! I remember that Maxell commercial like it was yesterday! Great commercial.....in all the Playboy mags haha
Nah. We all know the answer. The 488 of course Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I had the same issue with huracan spyder but recently sat in a huracan evo spyder that had the sports and had enough room. They said with the sports seat you have almost 2" more legroom so am thinking maybe getting one for next car
Yes, I’m aware of the sport seats. The boot is another matter ( I thought it was the battery compartment without the battery), relegating it to a day car as the wife called it, but I could live with that and ultimately need to be comfortable in the car. They did a nice job (IMO) of refreshing/replacing the interior buttons with the flatscreen and Apple Play on the EVO.
