It's very mixed. Some embrace his success and others feel he deserted the Pats. Playing for Bill Belichick is not the easiest job in the world, but then you can't argue with success.

Personally I wish they could have come to some sort of agreement so he could stay and finish his career here.

At least that flaming idiot Max Kellerman finally had to admit that Brady didn't "fall off a cliff" 5 years ago!:D

Notice how many great QBs over the years play nearly all their careers for one team but finish them out somewhere else? Unitas, Namath, Montana are three that come to mind.

(Of course, it happens in baseball as well; consider Babe Ruth and Willie Mays.)

Joe Flacco, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Matt Schaub, Philip Rivers, Kirk Cousins, Tyrod Taylor, Alex Smith, Case Keenum, Andy Dalton, Jimmy Garrapolo, Nick Foles, Carson Palmer, yeah, all the great ones seem to do that, don't they? :)

Well, some of those guys never really spent much time with their original teams, so I'm not sure they'd fit; Fitzpatrick, for instance, is the ultimate journeyman, and I doubt if Miami is his last stop. And Garrapolo hardly got a real shot with the Patriots. But I'd put Flacco, Rivers and Dalton in the club, for sure.

(I was not serious with the list....)

If you think you can still play, and the refs protect you, how in the hell do you ignore
6-8-10 MILLION a year to play a couple more years?

Wow! Late in the 3rd, the Dolphins lead the Rams 28-10 in spite of having less than 100 yards total offense. The reason? A long fumble return and a long punt return!

And the Bengals and Vikings are on the verge of upsetting teams with much better records.....

I'm not surprised at all with MIA or Cinci, and had I known Dalvin Cook was playing I MIGHT have picked Minn, but I doubt it.
I know Minn has a pretty good offense when DC plays, but I didn't expect GB's offense to suck so bad.

The Patriots are 2-5, and I think we can put a fork in their "dynasty". Is anyone sad? I'm not!

Meh, I'm ambivalent, it was nice to see them (or anyone) 'reload' every year or every other year
and do well. New Orleans seemed to do that with their receivers quite a bit.
They (NE) seemed to always know exactly when to trade or release someone, but I knew last season they were
in trouble when they let so many people go, Kyle Van Noy, etc. that it would catch up with them.

^It would appear that one-third of the way into the season, that Belly needed TB12 more than TB12 needed Belly?!?
Or, perhaps Brady picked a good time to jump ship...T

It can't be easy to be a tenant in your own home stadium. Jets made that deal with the devil and you've seen how that's turned out. A near flawless track record of ineptitude...T

    LOL!!!

Today after the game in the local recap TV show one of the announcers talking about the game called them "The San Diego Chargers".

I've never been a fan of teams in the same league sharing the same facility. I think the Jets should consider building a new football stadium near Citi Field and that both the Chargers and Clippers should eventually return to San Diego.

Yes I agree they belong in San Diego. But I even wonder if their fans will accept them with the same owners.

The LA Times lead sports writer editorial the day they announced they were going to move to LA.

"Go home. We don't want you here!"

    Welcome to LA!

They let their egos get in the way of making a deal in SD. They're likely the third most popular team in LA, after Raiders and Rams, worse if you count the local college football teams...T

Jets and Mets in one area is a lotta sucking on one place. Likely cause a year in the space time continuum. Let Jersey keep them...T

They need a legit #1 RB. Even Ekeler is not a real true #1.

Open up your wallet, I'm sure it can be done.

I agree, it's the San Diego Chargers and the San Diego Clippers.
And the St Louis Cardinals, and the Baltimore Colts.... STILL getting used to that last one.
Lest we not forget the Houston OILERS.

PS - California Angels, not the Anaheim Angels... California Golden Seals...

Broncos came back in the second half and pulled a win against a better team LAC.

Lock was terrible the first half and played completely differently the second half. Good coaching IMVHO against a better team.

Watched this year’s Hard Knocks and wasn’t impressed with the LAC coach. I now believe Fangio is a better coach. And it once again looks like Lock may be a franchise qb.
