    Hey All-

my oil pressure is fine, don’t worry. However the idiot light seems to be failing or bad connection. It keeps coming on/off and dimming. Also the buzzer will randomly come on. Are these one and the same part? Separate parts? My guess is a part of the harness relating to these parts is loose or corroded.

Separate parts, but he signal that turns "on" the warning light is the same signal that turns "on" the buzzer. You are right to first suspect something in the harness (as, if the wire going to the warning light sensor shorts to ground = turns on the light and sounds the buzzer) so first thing to do is just inspect that wire in the engine bay. If seems OK, as a test, you could unplug the warning light sensor and see if that resolves the problem (while keeping a close eye on the gauge ;)) -- if it does = buy a new warning light sensor.

disconnect the wire from the sensor, put it on ground - then the light must go on and the buzzer will sound. if not then have a look at the harness
does the "idiot light" goes full on when the ignition is on and engine not running or is it dimmed?
