Portugal 2020 team radio. this is of course after the incident with Norris. Quite the opposite of what Otmar said.
LOL. Its difficult to see the truth out of that organization. Tough day but more so as the one driver could not find track limits and decided to leave the track on a pass to turn 1 hitting Norris. For as fast as they are they under-perform at almost all races so far. I would think 'politically' working there is not fun with ownership in the cockpit and in the paddock.
Rightful as Norris is no fan of the Crash-tastic Lance lol https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/153081/norris-stroll-doesnt-seem-to-learn-following-crash Lando Norris hit out at Lance Stroll following their crash in the Portuguese Grand Prix, saying the Racing Point Formula 1 driver "doesn't seem to learn with anything he does". Norris had run as high as third for McLaren in the opening stages of Sunday's race at Portimao, and was in contention for a points finish prior to his collision with Stroll on lap 18 of the race. Stroll looked to pass Norris around the outside at Turn 1 despite being out wide on the kerb, and turned into the McLaren driver on the inside, resulting in contact. It left Norris with damage that had to be repaired at a pitstop soon after the collision, ruining his race, while Stroll received a five-second time penalty for causing the crash. Norris ultimately finished the race down in 13th, after later struggling with a slow puncture, while Stroll retired with 15 laps to go after dropping to last and receiving a second five-second time penalty for exceeding track limits. Speaking about the collision after the race, Norris expressed his confusion over Stroll's move and why he tried a similar pass to the one which resulted in contact with Max Verstappen in practice on Friday. "I don't know what he was doing really," Norris said. "I don't know where he was really. He went to the left, which I was quite surprised by when he easily could have gone to the inside. I was easily halfway alongside, and he just turns in. "He obviously didn't learn from Friday, but he doesn't seem to learn with anything he does. It happens a lot, so I just need to make sure I stay away."
The way other drivers adress Stroll show the lack of respect they have for him, wich also shows how bad he really is.
Ricci was not pleased at Austria as well. Saying his 'move' wasnt even a move. When you lose respect of the other competitors you are marginal in status.
Probably the most frustrating situation for the other drivers is they know there's not a damn thing they can do about him. Nothing . . . . .
No, what you are doing is saying anyone with money in Russia is automatically a criminal. "Arguing for the sake of arguing" That's strong coming from you, as you've spend practically all your time here contradicting yourself over and over again, simply to argue.
If you do your homework and look at the antecedents of Dmitry Mazepin, you find he has quite a juicy pedigree. That's all I am saying. Obviously feel free to spin that to your liking.
You are free to admire Briatore either. This is true that you are not close to a contradiction in this forum.
Well, in Portugal, stroll has managed to summarise all the reasons why he’s the worst driver on the grid. Crashes with Verstappen on Friday. Impressive Drives off track so many times he gets a 5 sec penalty. Impressive. Demonstrates unbelievably poor race craft and crashes in Norris during the race whilst screwing up a simple overtake. Impressive. Cries over the radio to his race engineer to let him retire from the race as he’s last and can’t be bothered to do his job anymore. Impressive. It’s an amazing time in F1. Lance is putting in a great bid to be the worst driver GOAT.
I agree with most of what you say, except the underlined above. It is well-known and documented that in the USSR there were private companies that, although not permitted, were tolerated by the heads of the communist party.
In any case argument was if Force India could have survived without the Strolls and given there was already a better offer than the Stroll’s one answer is easy. Chelsea fc does pretty well with Russian billionaire’s money so why not Force India?
https://www.planetf1.com/features/portuguese-grand-prix-driver-ratings/ Lance Stroll: This was quite frankly a nightmare weekend for Stroll as the only things of note he did were crash, first with Verstappen in practice and then with Norris in the race. The first wasn’t entirely his fault, but the second was. His late move on the McLaren was certainly brave, but there’s a fine line between brave and stupid, and he crossed it. If he wants to prove he’s not just in the sport because of his dad, he has to do better. 3
Well...........its been 4 years!!! LOL Better he is not!!!!!!! At other teams he is already released! Do we need more proof he is blocking other talent? As I ask before who here would hire him if you were on a F1 team looking for a driver.................... Im confused as so many here and in the press said he has improved so much lol!!! No he is still not at consistent F1 level to RACE. He drives not race!
Post of the thread!! Lance has not improved and is not in the correct driving sport. There is no debate. The thread should be closed LOL.
You are asking the wrong question here. Which father would refuse a job to his son in his own company ? There must be millions of examples of fathers giving a job, or responsabilities in their business to their children. I let you ponder if it's fair or not, if it blocks others' careers, but it's common practice anyway, and I would subscribe to it in the same position. If you despise the Strolls so much try to find another angle to attack them.
I figured that was hogwash what he said. I assumed they retire the car as it became hopeless at that point.
You seem to have missed Pastor> Some 'fun' on lap 56 of 57 * click 'watch on you tube' for viewing when you open the video.
This thread is always a source of entertainment for me. Tons of 'experts' from around the world chiming in with possibly the most common comment is that Lance is lacking talent. These people purport themselves to be experts on the sport yet endlessly cry foul of how unfair it is that some people get further in life because of money. I here to remind you all that this is the way of the world. From businesses where the boss' kid is given endless head starts to the Stroll's and the like in F1, crying about realities that are out of your control is just nonsense. I dedicated my life to motor racing and did so with not a lick of family money to my name. For years I saw rich kids with less ability blow right past my development curve due to cubic dollars and I learned really early to accept reality or go do something else. Back to the talent thing I said it before talent is something you are born with and have ZERO control over. Stroll was born into money which anyone in racing will tell you is THE most important factor to move forwards. As such Stroll is among the most talented drivers on the grid. Like it or not this is a FACT even though the 'talent' of being rich is far from the sexiest of attributes when thinking of a racing driver.
