    Could be the piece that routes air to cool the brakes. I'd have to look at mine to be sure.

    Does indeed look like the brake cooling duct. Get it fixed. If for no other reason than it seems odd to drive a Ferrari with bits missing.

    I don''t think it cools the brakes. There is a snorkel for that. I think its is more of an air management system. It diverts air from entering the tire well and pushes it toward the center of the car. Its the lowest part of an F12 and you should get it replaced.
