Just delighted to see Lance back. Hope he is recovering fully from Covid.

Poor guy had now 3 bad races in a row. Hoping he'll get some WDC points in Portimao. Fingers crossed!

"When in Australia we had someone who didn't feel well, Andreas [Seidl] and I aren't doctors, but we took the very quick decision to isolate, and then when the test came back positive, isolate the team and ultimately we knew that would shut us down for the race.

"I know the doctor didn't think a test was positive.

"Maybe in hindsight, that should be different. I don't know who the doctor was. I don't know if it was Dr. Mallya, Dr. Seuss, maybe it was Dr. Dre.

"But maybe next time around, we should be testing when anyone has any sorts of symptoms because we know how dangerous this is."

Racing Point F1 boss Otmar Szafnauer claimed on Thursday that the team "test more than any other business on the planet - not just Formula 1 teams, any other business on the planet".

Brown pondered how it was possible for the team to be certain of such a claim, and stressed the importance of transparency between everyone in the F1 paddock to ensure the virus is kept under control.

"I don't know what everyone's testing protocols are," Brown said.

"I know how much we test. I've just heard that Racing Point tests more than any company in the planet. Not sure how you substantiate that.

Can imagine Stewards will dish out penalty to Max at very least for causing collision

Clearly Max' fault. Stroll was way ahead.

Let's see what the stewards say. Maybe it'll be just a racing incident and nobody gets a penalty.

That turn 1 and the pit exit are a recipe for desaster. I bet we'll see more collisions like this.

The fair solution would be a penalty for both, they were quite stupid for getting into that situation in a free practice.

    Hummmm ...
That's why I am not in favour of broadcasting radio communications on the air.
They should be considered private conversations, and not eavesdropped in my book.

No excuse for this to happen in practice, Max is a jerk , sits in Stroll's blindside then dive bombs him , for what , because he is Max ?

The Lance-Max Incident is reminiscent of the Max-Ocon incident at the BrazilianGP 2018.

Max was in the lead and Ocon(about to be lapped by Max) takes Max out in the Esses at Interlagos.

Ocon received a 10sec timed penalty for crashing into Max.

Looks like stroll needs some new spectacles. How he managed to miss the fact that max had closed up on him and was right next to him at t1 is beyond me.

Ok, I'm fine with that. Racing incident.

Of course that won't stop some on here to blame Lance. Whatever.

I love both drivers, they're both my fav guys of the field (followed by Charles and Hamilton), so I have no axe to grind. I maintain this was Max' mistake as Lance was ahead. Plus the odd turn #1.

Like how Mckaren management made that point lol. The protocol is test and prevent worst case arriving. Takes little time and effort to test. Lesson learned hopefully

That’s true. The track is one massive roller coaster. With all the blind turns etc it must be a real challenge for the drivers to master with so little running.

As for the lance vs Ver incident, I’m fine with no penalty. It’s practice. Mistakes happen. Tough. Learn and move on.
