That period phone, also in white, mounted on the center console adds $10,000 to the car. I didn't see if it had the swirly antenna on the back still.

A single mirror white testarossa for sale is very VERY rare! Believe me I looked for years. I Literally cannot tell you the last time that there was one for sale in the United States (too bad this one is in Canada).
Red or black singles mirror TR’s are pretty much always available for sale. But never a white one.
It’s been a while since I have looked at the numbers but from what I remember there were maybe less than 50 white single mirrors made and sold globally.
True ‘Miami Vice’ aficionados would take a single mirror over a double mirror any day of the week. I would have bought one if I could have found it.
A white single mirror, given the SAME condition, would be worth much more than a white double mirror TR any day of the week simply because of that TV show.
The same cannot be said about TR‘s in other colors.
We all have our preferences. Colors, number of mirrors, wheel types, etc.
Whether you personally like a white single mirror or not doesn’t really matter, the fact is that the marketplace does put a major price premium on them.

As the high bidder on the last BaT auction and cover bid at Mecum...with 2 more auctions in the next week, in addition to all the other standard listings, I can say I have learned rather quickly that the supply of these cars seems rather ample. Doesn't feel like these $130k-140k prints are the right price for even a very excellent example. Just my opinion of course!

Exactly !! 100k should get u a 20k example but BAT has had a craze of bidders... prices jumped 15-20% on
There compared to the rest of the auction site... time will tell. But morries sold a 13k car for 100k to
Sonfield, ferraris online one for 109k both one owner over the past months.

I will say that this BaT car, with the reserve I was made aware of after the auction ended with my bid at $107.5k, was a lot more reasonably priced than where the last 2 traded at Sotheby's and Mecum (both in mid-130k before 10-12% fees)...and I found the seller to be quite transparent and honest. I may pursue the car privately myself, but if anyone else is in the market, this car offers decent value I believe.

Maybe but u have to do a major on it. Keep looking. I regularly post examples on there. As I said ferraris online had 2 weeks ago a one owner fully serviced car for 109k with 16k miles. I’d look outside BAT

Almost every car that has been sold of late needs a belt service...and I would rather have it done myself, as well as take that opportunity to do some other preventative maintenance at the same time.

But fair point, fair point indeed...do you have link to that $109k car you mention?

You just wonder who really is buying these cars at close to $150k all-in at these Sotheby's/Mecum auctions...it ain't anyone here by the looks of it ;)! Honestly, I would have never bid as high as I did at Mecum if the car weren't white.

And another one that’s 2 on BAT at the same time.
    Ppl hoping to capitalize on
The recent bat uptick in prices.
Not sure putting so many for sale just in October alone will help sustain high prices.
The last 2 didn’t do as well but still good enough!

I own a white Canadian TR. Don't forget Canadian also means:

    No Mouse belts (big improvement)
No unsightly knee pad (big improvement)
Metric dashboard instruments (cool to have in the states)
    Daytime running lights (good look)
Different front grill and bumper (matter of preference)

Sotheby's auction today: $170k hammer price. Insane! Car was not *that* fantastic.

What is ur budget and what are you looking for? Very low mileage tend to go higher although this one wasn’t to me (not the buyer of course) worth more than 140k. Ferrari of lake forest just sold
A red one with 4k miles for 145k.

Prefer White, or second choice Red. Doesn't need to be crazy low miles, but I do want a very clean example. Budget less important than fair price. This one at 170k just made me laugh. I had the car looked at; the interior and paint, for instance, were in worse shape than many 10k-15k mileage cars I have seen (in my opinion).

Interesting I never noticed the us version knee pad. It certainly looks cleaner without it, I actually used mine to hold stuff (cell phone) haha
My guess it can easily be taken off for an euro look
I am familiar with the different front lights between euro and US, being US the whole amber at the top. But what are the differences between grilles for me they look the same
