So how many miles so far?

    Impressions compared to the 458?

Have you tried an F12 or 812?

300 miles, feels so much more modern than the 458. Love the updated interior it drives so smooth and it’s so much faster. The updated tech is super nice. Really love the looks over the 458 I think it’s one of the most beautiful modern Ferraris.

The only thing the 458 has that is better is the sound, the 458 was literally like an F1 car.

    Very, very happy!

At some point I would love to add a V12 Ferrari. I have never driven one.

I only have a few miles in the F8 over two test drives. I agree with everything being smoother and unbelievably fast. Still in love with my 458, I couldn't bring myself to give it up (+130k) for an F8. Of course then my 458 died in July I was in this weird spot where I couldn't just buy an F8, and it would have been well over a year wait.

The F12 is a lot 'more' car. I've posted my comparo with the 458 in other threads, but if I can only have one Ferrari I'm smitten with the V12 and the overall usability of the GT car. Compared to the F8 it feels noticeably heavier, the Magnaride shocks make it very smooth, but essentially as fast in most conditions, and the sound is harmonic and incredible. The tech and interfaces are the same as the 458.

The other main difference in feel is the position of the cabin to the wheelbase: you're way behind the front wheels and the point of rotation is around your shins/knees, instead of the front wheels being in line with your feet and the rotation feeling like it's at your hips. More sled than go-kart.

I still hum and haw about getting an F8 Spider before the run ends, if I can without selling the F12 (wife not likely to agree to having both unless I really rock a big 7 figure case)... But the modern car I want most right now is the 812GTS. I can't bring myself to commit that much though.

Is the lack of sound a true concern? The car of course looks AMAZING, but if no sound, is it more like a fast, bad azz GT? I’m def new here, but I so love the loud, raw sound of the f430. Maybe I’m just a 54 year old juvenile?

Let’s just say I will miss the sound of the 458, if this car had that sound WOW. But the total package is so much better The F8 is the right car for me.

Can't blame you as I find myself in the reverse position... I am getting the F8 with goals to get the 812 later... I am sorry to hear about the death of your 458. Hopefully it can be easily and cost effectively (word that Ferrari doesn't recognize in their dictionary) resuscitated.

Please do not get rid of your F12... At all costs, keep that beautiful beast and get your F8. After that, you won't need (or be able to get a new car like them).

    Cheers...

That is some dude in the dog house that wanted to make up for some really big f...up with his wife or girlfriend. Only explanation! Nevertheless, impressive craftmanship and detail.

It isn't as that can't be fixed. You can always add the Novitec or hopefully soon Kline exhaust.

That is great to hear, and obviously it is an undeniably beautiful car. Enjoy it in good health and keep updating us on your new acquisitions!

If I presented my wife with a diamond encrusted key fob, she would think I went insane and spent a great deal of money on nothing.

I spent 2 F8’s on our house remodel to justify my purchase. Wait till she finds out I spent $258,000 on my 2021 911 turbo s cab!

So technically 3/4 make up in cars for the remodeling of the house. I'd say she came up on top! You have about a 1/4 for upgrades!!!
