"Just" get it coated and then buy; a water filter, jet wash and leaf blower – worked for me the last 20 years :(

    Definitely! Car looks awesome.

Maybe I'm a bit biased since my 488 has black wheels too but ;)

I did the same. Still requires a lot more attention than any other color car. I have an Obsidian Black CLS 63s. paint corrected and with ceramic coating (as you can see on my avatar). I have a a 10' x 20' canopy, DI filter, pressure washer and professional heated filtered blower. Takes time and dedication to care for black cars. I haven't driven it for a week to reapply a polymer hydrophobic layer to keep it in the best shape possible. I would recommend against the leaf blower and particles may be blown onto the car.

If you like to “see” the wheels and their detail then go something besides black. If you want the wheel detail to go away then you want black. I like to see the wheels so I would never go black. Just one opinion.

I just ordered 2 weeks ago from Wheels Boutique a set of HRE P107 in brushed with gloss clear. When I get them...saying it's going to be 4-5 weeks...I will post up photos.

Thanks Jon. Mine are Vorsteiner 20/21. Like you, I traded in my 599 (black on black with black wheels). Since my 458 came the same way, I decided to do contrasting wheel color as a change.

Another little advice. Does the car have full PPF and ceramic ?

Do yourself a favour. Invest in a water filter unit , High pressure unit with soap dispense ( snow ) and a great blower. This way you wont be touching the car when washing. Filtered water leaves ZERO water spots.

Once in a while you need to use a microfiber to wipe when washing.

Put the car cover supplied on last night and it doesn't seem to fit. The large logo at the front. The mirror socks are too far back. Confused!

Yea I meant that you want them folded in. Mine fits fine so unless somehow yours is not the right cover you probably just need to play around with it to get it on
