@Pazzo009 While you have the parts outside of the car, would you mind measuring the outer diameter (OD) of the downpipe outlet?

Thanks @Pazzo009! That's actually the downpipe inlet (turbo-side). Would you mind measuring the other end of the downpipe (the outlet)

200 cell cats? Looking forward to your experience regarding CEL light with the cats. You don’t have a ECU tune, right?

    Yes, 200 cell... No tune.

I should be okay...I'm adding mini cats (bung extensions) just for good measure. It worked on my F12

Curious you gonna use the Kline remote for the valves or pin them open ?

Kline's "button" doesn't work with this system I was told. Therefore I am installing the Capristo controller. I want the capability to make it quiet if needed. The fluctuation or modulation is annoying. I prefer it to be linear.

I'm with you on this. For the sake of a few extra dollars fitting a controller it doesn't make any sense at all compromising a car of this value. I find when pushing my Pista hard it just feels better with the valves working. And if ever you need a bit of the noise toned down its so nice to have options. I reckon driving with a valve-less system would drive you nuts after a while, especially on a long run. Even on my past 488 it was so nice being able to shut it up here and there. After a while in the seat it can get very annoying with the valves open all the time.

Are those mini cats / bung extensions also from Kline, or which company makes them?

100% agree with this. A controller is dirt cheap all things considered, and just clamping the valves open really feels like compromising the car. With a controller you add something extra to the cars personallity without losing anything. If one just pins them open, you lose the refinement and some performance. I mean, the Cspristo controller is cheaper than tyres, so why cut corners right?

Yes I'm not sure why anyone would on a car like this - makes zero sense to me. I can understand the saving of money but pegging the valves permanently open diminishes Ferraris engineering, which is what you pay for on a car like this. So basically you are robbing yourself by removing that. The valves are basically open all the time anyway when the car is being properly driven and it's really only during traffic, freeway cruising and very low rpm driving that having the valves held open provides anything positive - the rest is all negative with them permanently pegged.

Please clarify; the Kline system comes with a controller, are you saying it doesn't work?

I ordered the system through Vivid Racing. (They are pleasure to work with) Right before it shipped I was told that the "Kline button" doesn't work with the Pista and the system is intended to work with the standard pneumatic valves in place. However to manipulate that, the Capristo valve controller can be installed to either make it operate normal, closed, or open.

Intersting, I was told directly by Kline that it does work. I guess we will find out soon enough. Good luck with your install.

Fully closed? The Capristo? They are usually Auto and Fully open.

You might be right... I could be mistaken. I had it on my F12 and I thought I had that functionality, but I never used it and kept it on full open

Any updates on the 200 cell cats and a possibility of CEL and the manufacture of the mini cats?

The Kline system is so much nicer looking than the stock system.

Mnfr exhaust systems seem to be an afterthought sometimes.
