Kit has everything you need. Easy bolt on. I have cross-drilled which is fine for mostly street. They have the potential for cracking under heavy tracking. I have mine for 10 years with street and some track days with no cracking. For street it is a choice for looks. The Trophy calipers are more expensive but are lighter. Will fit with Challenge rims or stock

    Excellent, thank you.
The pads? Fine for that purpose? Mainly street, very occasional track

Also I gave an extra set of the block adapter for the fronts, should anyone want them for $200. They are the cnc unobtainable adapters for the F355, big brake conversion.

PM me if anyone wants them.

    Go for it then.
All the information was in this post, it wasn't that difficult. You buy it Ferrari 550 rotors, Porsche 993tt calipers, and the adapter. That's it Bolt on and go
It fits all my wheels challenge, stock, pg3.
I used to get horrible Fade with the stock brakes, never had any issues with these at the track.

Don't know if this is crucial or not but Stoptech uses front and rear calipers with the correct piston size for the car application that works with the stock master cylinder. Maybe your Brembo caliper application has the same size pistons as Stopteck kit so it's a mute point? What size are the 550 rotors?

I have a set of the 456 GTA/M rotors if anyone wants them for this kit. One never used and one mounted to mock up the brackets I had made. They are the 330mm rotors that are the same size as the 550, but are blanks and not cross drilled. $200

I know this thread is old.... but can we assume a brake set for the 550 (complete) would bolt right up? Maybe just carriers for the Calipers.

Bolt on, not a chance. Conceptually if there was... would one think one would prefer to do this? Stoptech's bolt on though.

It really does look great and sounds like a good price. Just to confirm, however, one will also need to push the wheels out with wheel spacers for clearance ?

ok, wasn't sure as in post 78, Johan says that the wheel spacers are needed to clear the rims. So they aren't?

They are titanium bolts. I had them manufactured a few years back had to buy like 20 sets, I sold the rest, kept several sizes for me.

I have a set of titanium bolts for my 355 when it arrives.

I think I bought them from someone off this site years ago.

There's many companies out there now that produce them.

Brand New Brembo Bog Brake kit with floating rotors is 3400.
I would prefer to drop another 600 and have the new, effortless, kit from Brembo.

Design911 in the UK have copy versions of the 993TT 'Big Red' brake calipers - they're popular in the UK. Item 3604209301.
    I assume these are correct?
