Earlier this week someone mentioned the LB at Finali, but I am right in saying that's also not the case, correct?
I read SF90 Spider at Finali, and not LB. Or maybe I missed something. But it’s more probable that the car to be unveiled at Finali is the SF90 Spider, as development is already/almost done.
That's what I read as well. SF90 spider at Finali, then 1:1 presentations for the 812VS according to FChat member ppg70 (sorry if I'm mistaken).
Has anyone heard anything about 812 VS launch invitations yet? Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
812VS has been postpone in 2021....before summer it seems that at Finali Mondiali we will see the SF90 Spider.....but everything can change due to Covid-19 evolution
At this point, given the evolution of the COVID-19 situation, I wouldn't be surprised if that event (Finali) was cancelled. Let's hope not, though.
Wouldn’t it be more with the times if Ferrari made the unveilings purely digital and toured the demo cars to prime dealers? In essences the way Apple has chosen to unveil their products this year and add to that the dealer previews. It could add more orders to Ferrari’s sheets and it would allow them not to stagnate and postpone all their new cars. Then again I am bias, so maybe that’s hopeful wishes of a fan wanting to see what they come up next.
Not in my opinion. Getting to the event, meet people and all the rest of it, is the fun bit. Doing a digital launch would be utterly boring and impersonal. No thanks. Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Event will still go on but in several countries at prime dealers instead of Maranello that way the cars can still be unveiled instead of postponed indefinitely.
Valid point. I still like the idea of events where enthusiasts can meet up, have a friendly chat and see a new model in the flesh, but digital presentations would do just fine (just my personal opinion)..especially when, due to COVID, such events are at risk.
Unusually ,I’m actually happy they are delaying the presentation of the VS- it will give me more time to enjoy my 812 and forthcoming GTS without being impatient at getting into the VS. Before the present model timeframes , you enjoyed each model for so much longer before you were teased by the visuals /aurals of the new shinier/faster model . The 812 is such an awesome machine that it merits savouring rather than wishing your automotive life away .....

But, it's a test mule, not the actual body, so, whatever it is doesn't seem to only be related to design, otherwise why bother. I think more likely to be something functional, unclear what, but those cooling vents are curious.
Let’s hope it’s not a camouflaged third exhaust tip on each side! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
