I may need a new injector, and the 4 port model from FiveOMotorsports looks interesting. It looks like I could do all 12 for the cost of 2-4 OEM units. Is anyone here running them in their 550? Thanks!

I bought one, not a whole set and it did not solve my misfire issue

Very interesting, I wonder if it is because the FiveO injector has a lower impedance (14.7 vs. 15.9). Not a big difference, but maybe enough for things to get weird. I am very curious about how 12 of them would perform.

Have you had your injectors cleaned and resealed?

Yes, and unfortunately it did not fix the issue.

I could be wrong but it appears the 550 oem injectors have some unique operating parameters...like as you mentioned the impedance. I recall reading that other similar injectors don't work right. I could be wrong tho

Injectors have many specific characteristics aside from absolute flow rate. Highly suggest you don't stray from OEM unless you have the ability to recalibrate the ecu for the new parts.

Even then, you need to be very careful about buying quality/matched components with usable/correct characterization data.
