Parts of the Mid engine vette they got right. Some part they missed. Its looks almost kit car-ish for lack of a better word. I get it performs stupid amazing I am just referring to the looks alone. I bet the fat tired and lowered Z06 models will look much better.

I would agree that it looks odd at some angles or views.... But, I find that mainly in pictures. Up close and personal where you can touch and feel, it really shines.

The 355 is probably a perfect sports car for looks - period. A 458 or 488, then I would buy a Vette on looks and price alone.

no question about value of that vette! Its crazy when you compare it to other cars that perform at that level. What 1/3 the cost... Crazy.

And this is just the "base" model.

The Z06 will probably be F8/Pista level performance and the ZR1 will be in hypercar territory.

Just wanted to add my recent sale to the market discussion for those keep track and some details.

I bought my 355 in 2006 for $68,000. Was just sold thru FerrariChat marketplace last week at $95,000. Rossa Barchetta 1995 stick shift GTB.

The car sold in 2 weeks. Buyer reviewed maintenance records and pictures and wired the funds in a day. Completely hassle free.

I took around 20 phone calls over the car, several people came out to see it. Had a few lowball offers of course but I was firm on price.

Car had a carfax incident from me driving over a curb. Also no clue on the valve guides. I had a leakdown in 2015 and the leakage was
less than 2% on all cylinders so I was not worried about it, but the fact it did not have valve guide repair history was a turnoff to a few buyers.

I had around 40k in repair receipts over the 14 years I had her.

So excluding tires and insurance, I kept and drove a Ferrari F355 for 14 years at the cost of around $13k.

The buyer is ecstatic and I hope he makes money on the car too, now that we are at the 25 year curve up on values on classic Ferrari's.

Thanks for the info. You’re still banned for listing the car less than $100k :)

I think that one sold for a lower price partially because it just needs a decent amount of work.

In your list of Berlinettas, you missed my 1998 yellow F1 that I have for sale at $75K. I think it is a fair price for a car in almost new condition with less than 30,000 miles. It is presently going through a major to verify everything is in top condition.

C8 amazing value no doubt. I think most of us are here for the 'experience' and in some ways 'headaches' F cars provide. These days common civilian cars out accelerate F355 but provide little 'experience'.
