In a way, it is a scam because you only get software for one make, while other universal scanners work with dozens of makes. $60-$80 per make can add up real quick.

I have an Acutel that cost less and will read FCar codes AND clear many of them. I'm not home right now to get the model, but will do so later if you're interested.

Accutron AutoScanner Plus, not Acutel. Will get exact model number later.

Will it clear airbag codes? That's the only thing my Foxwell 510 can't seem to do..

I'm not sure, I've never had to do it. But it might because they say it does for other cars. It's the Actron CP9680 and it does all these things...

To add to my replies, my scanner DID cost slightly more than $129 though (I paid $139 after discount).

It's the same thing? I have 2 Actron scanners and neither was able to read anything but 1 ECU

Every shop seems to want $200+ just to scan so if I have to add to my growing collection of scanners because of this car, I guess it is what it is...

Chinese company and the site does look a little scary, but I bought one for my Porsche as the airbag light went on and my other code readers would not eliminate it. $129, then i had to order and upload the Porsche software for $60. But, it worked as advertised where others didn’t for $200....

I have to ask... why was your airbag light on in the first place? Don't you think it's worth investigating and remediating before just clearing the light?

on Porsche, car hits a predetermined threshold and light goes on automatically for you to take to dealer for inspection. i did inspection myself and reset it. if there was ongoing problem, like all warning lights, it would trigger again....

I recently bought a 2001 euro 360 spider. Do yall know if the Foxwell NT510 will see whether sensors are emissions ready or not? The battery died while sitting during shipping and two sensors are still showing not ready, which makes the car fail emission in Missouri. I read in the manual that it does cover I/M readiness, but wasn't sure if anyone had experience with that. Also, maybe a dumb question, but any issue with using it on a euro spec car?
