Very sad to read the news o er the weekend that John Campion, also known here as "Irish", has lost his battle with Leukaemia. For a long time John was the owner of a great collection of Lancia race and rally cars, among other fine automobiles, and was always very generous with his cars, taking them to events all over. Just before he died he had put his collection up for sale with the goal of building up another collection of historically significant Irish-related racing cars. He was also leading an effort to get young Irish people racing. Great guy, who will be missed.
