Nice try, but your spin don't work !! You just want to create another polemic but you have no case, so stop trolling !! For your information, the point score restarts every year, so it's pointless cumulating points over 3 years. What is undeniable, however, that you like it or not, is that Hamilton won more GPs, and finished higher than Button 2 years out of 3.
For McLaren, the driver who bagged the most points brings the most money. Button delivered more money for the team over their 3 year tenure. As a business this is the team's primary concern.
So, you are a master of spinning as well !! In you post # 921 it was "Button outscored Hamilton over there [sic] tenure at McLaren. I proved to you that statement was wrong by quoting some official stats. So now, you introduce an other element that wasn't part of your initial claim. Who do you think you are kidding ?
I'm not spinning anything. SimCity said that over their tenure at Mclaren, Button outscored Hamilton. Which is absolute fact. YOU try to spin it by saying Elton had more wins. Lewis was expected to obliterate Button. It was his own team. Everyone told Button he was insane to go up against Lewis, as it would diminish his title with Brawn as a title won simply with the best car of the field nothing more. Come contract negotiation, Lewis was offered a fraction of what he normally got.
Button was objectively more consistent than Hamilton based on him scoring more points during their time together at McLaren. That's really all that statistic indicates. I'm not a Hamilton fan at all, but three seasons does a career make.
You're a funny guy - what are you on about ? Button DID outscore Hamilton on points over their 3 year tenure. Button therefore delivered a better ROI for McLaren. It also explains why McLaren offered Hamilton a salary cut.
Hamilton left what had always been “his team” crying. One more year together and Button would have demolished him. Luckily for him he never had any other solid racer as teammate but still got beaten once more
Both! See Nelson piquet we went over this already. This forum is funny- if it wasn’t for Dixon, William& ktu there wouldn’t be many to debate It’s all fun to me. I don’t think Hamilton is an idiot, I think he is arrogant, forgets often he is British with a modest background per f1 standard but not from Compton and not the second coming of 2pac. I appreciate his interest in other topics which we can’t mention on here because u get banned but find them not compatible with his current activity. That being said- I still do like his personality compared to Schumacher who, I’m not afraid to admit it, was a complete prick. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Explain why Mercedes recruited Hamilton to replace Schumacher and not Button then. They must have got it wrong, no? It's obvious that Niki Lauda saw more potential in Hamilton who was more successful at McLaren, than in Button.
But my friend This is all semantics; can’t I see I’m messing with u? Ur question was beat a WC u didn’t specifically say over a season hence my response to your initial question being correct Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Lewis was out of contract, Button was not. Age was also a factor. Hulkenberg was Mercedes' other option if Hamilton said no.
Bear in mind William is only arguing for arguments sake. Before he made ''the switch'' he made many posts against Lewis. He feeds on the attention arguments bring him (look at just about any topic he debates, not just Lewis related, you'll soon spot the pattern). The typical Lewis debate with his supporters is quite simple: They want ''us'' to admit he's the greatest ever, don't do this and they'll question why you are a ''hater''. Explain you dislike his personality (which seems to be the overwhelming factor why he's not well liked), and they'll very quickly tell you you're being racist. Been this cycle for 10+ years now, LOL. You can't say he's good. You have to say he's the greatest ''or else''.
Great marketing potential, Mercedes were repositioning their street cars, and he's fast in a fast car. Lauda promised him a fast hybrid, which they had been developing for at least 5 years. Lauda was a man of his word.
Hulk would've had some WDC's under his belt now. Stronger than Bottas for sure, and could thumb his nose at Rosberg.

Interesting. He might. Let's see. A source quantifying the compensation in prior contacts versus what he was offered at that time would be a fascinating read. All the best, Andrew.
maha posting animated video of Lewis Hamilton and Greta Thunberg as political satire on climate change. 7-day ban.
McLaren say they have no regrets over their handling of contract discussions with Lewis Hamilton, who is moving to Mercedes next season. McLaren initially offered Hamilton a pay cut, before raising their offer when they realised they might lose him. Team boss Martin Whitmarsh said: "We had a lot of conversations with Lewis's management team. I don't think I have any particular regrets. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/19818118 Best, Sammy
