    Yes, it is popular and gives good temperature inside. The bigger cabins / mansions in the mountains use to have a goat up on the roof in order to keep the height of the grass at an appropriate level. They eat the grass and leave a small amount of fertilizer, so it is a ever lasting cyclus. Until the winter comes. Then they go to the local farmer to make cheese. The picture is likely taken during spring time before the grass is coming.
